Carter had a big hand in all 3. If the no nowts watching the tele or at the ground can see starting pears was mental. Carter and Wharton were so far off the pace they were becoming liabilities why couldn’t jdt who’s forgotten more than we’ll know

I think Leicester are in 1st gear knowing they can step it up at any point. I’d be frustrated as hell as a Leicester fan and thinking just finish rovers off or get a 2 goal buffer.
They play some suicidal football. They’ll get away with it vs rovers and other championship dross, although it directly led to our goal but easy to see why they got relegated playing like this and will do again if go up.

HT Changes? Can't see anyone on the bench that could change the game other than perhaps JRC, but not sure who I'd take off in his place?
Personally I’d sub Carter for hill. Pears for the Swedish international. Markanday for telalovic

I’ve obviously never seen Wahlstedt in training and haven’t seen him in the league cup but I just refuse to believe that a guy who’s played an international game for Sweden and kept a clean sheet isn’t better than Mowbray’s mates son. Who’s cost rovers more points than any keeper I can ever remember and put in some of the worst individual performances (Wigan/Ipswich) of any rovers player in any position.

If pears fucked up then it’s 100% jdt’s fault. Any moron can see he needed to be dropped. Even if this Swedish international is a sack of spuds.

Glen Chapple quits as Lancs Head Coach.
Time for an ambitious, outside appointment to shake things up.
Alas, more likely to be one of Vilas, Croft or Onions, ie a continuation of jobs for the boys.
He’s been involved at Lancs throughout my entire memory of cricket. Legend as a player fairly ordinary as a coach. Few good young uns coming through so defo needs fresh idea’s especially with all the dressing room is toxic rumours.
I’d love Lancs to go and get someone with experience elsewhere like Langer or even Stuart law if they are hell bent on a Lancs connection. Like you say no doubt it’ll be an easy internal appointment
When the director of cricket says we’ve had “a sustained period of success over the last seven years.” That is very very very worrying indeed and not obvious what success he’s even referring to. Joint 2nd least successful county since the turn of the century.

I see pears has got a brfcs ave rating of 1.1. I can only assume those giving him 1 and higher have given him a 1 for wearing the correct kit.

. Telalovic was a poor static player up front
Wasn’t this the guy who was meant to have run the 100m in 10 seconds or something like that

The last 500 ish under the Venkys have been fairly unmemorable

One thing I didn’t realise until today is in Lancashires relentless pursuit of building the most ugly ground in the world which is probably up there with the least functional in the world. (Aside from the foo fighters needs). We’re in £30 million debt. The most debt of any cricket club even more than the maligned slime lickers.

Well, they did want to buy a cricket team first.
Come on venkys, sell Rovers and buy a cricket club. No one will give a fuck about you running that into the ground.
Could probably even buy Yorkshire for £20 and a sausage roll.

I was thinking of getting my nephew a rovers shirt for his birthday in a few weeks. Is it safe to assume that the club doesn’t have kits in stock? Looked on the website and seemed to only talk about pre order 5 games into the new season.

Captain fantastic was a no show again. It’s to be hoped he’s doing wonders when pimps himself out to crisp packet franchises. Can’t recall anything equating to a motm performance for Lancashire or England. I think he’s living on past glories at this point. He’s the most overrated player ever, purely based on a purple patch of about 2 months getting on to 4 years ago.
To think he’s got a place in the World Cup squad and brook hasn’t. Chipping balls up to fielders and iffy spin

Spoking to a Plymouth in the way in he said beware the black mumba.

Has any team previously had 7 different scorers in the same game. And have 3 substitutes ever scored for the same team in a game.

I must admit I couldn’t care less in the slightest. We were never going to get in the 450 away allocation and it clearly said in bold letters tickets for home fans only. Took a chance didn’t work.
I am pretty amazed they took the time to cross reference addresses of people buying tickets. To be honest considering we are almost certainly the biggest side they’ve ever faced in a competitive game I couldn’t believe tickets weren’t only available to those with a history of purchase in the first place
Still know a couple that have slipped through Harrogate towns impenetrable security. Plus note to self if this very niche scenario ever presents itself again use the mrs details.

At home park we’ve played 25 won 4, drawn 6 and lost 15. So not happy hunting ground. Speedie scored a hat trick there in 92 when it mattered. Although if memory serves not sure it actually mattered all that much with the goal difference but we still did the business.

I love a smash and grab.
So far this season no rovers game has been normal. Beat wba when on another day they could have had 3 penalties. Walsall was a ding dong of behind, equalise, behind, equalise, ahead…. At Rotherham missed a pen, we gifted them a 2-0 lead then 2-2 by virtue of an silly red and at that point we should have really gone on to win but didn’t. Hull down to 10, we took the lead having been the better side and with 15 mins left really shouldn’t have lost and indeed had a chance to go 2-1 up ourselves but lost. Today we were largely battered away by a team who will be eying up the play offs but snuck a 1-0.
