He shouldn’t have a career and can fuck right off.

That's my thoughts as well. He was on the verge of the Swedish national team, chose Chile due to this.

The whole situation was handled so badly by the media as well. He was rightfully booed by opposing fans, they thought it was unfair to him. His club won the Swedish League, one of the biggest tabloids wrote an article basically saying it was nice for him to win after a "turbulent" season. He slept with a 14 year old girl, that's not "turbulent", it's rape!

I hope he stays away from this club.

Left-back Miiko Albornoz, now a free agent after leaving Hannover 96, great crosser of the ball. I'd be all over him. Did a bit of tactical research on him.

No thanks to sexual predators. The guy cheated on his girlfriend with a girl that he knew was 14 at the time.

    Statutory rape[edit]

On 8 January 2013, it was made official that Albornoz was being charged with statutory rape for having had sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl on 8 November 2012 in Malmö. Albornoz was detained and arrested for the offence on 17 November 2012, but was released after three days. Albornoz admitted that he was aware of the girl's age at the time of the act.[12] Media reported that the relationship was mutually consensual and that no violence or force had occurred during the act.[13] Malmö FF published a press release the same day stating that Albornoz would take a time-out from all activities with the club until further notice.[14]

  3. Wigan was apparently looking into Muamer Tankovic from hammarby in the Swedish league. We should also be doing that. Been one of the best players in our league the last few years and will most likely leave when his contact expires last of July. Could be a decent option on one of the wings.

Other players whose contracts expire and could be a decent should from the Swedish Allsvenskan:

    Isak Pettersson, 22 GK

    Adam Andersson, 23 D

    Fredrik Ulvestad, 27, CDM,

    Filip Dagerstål, 23 D

  4. And it all boils down to the so called owners as always. They may fund us enough to keep us floating. but they don't care about us. If they did then they would be here and see what is happening. Not staying in India an pretend all is well.

Should have cancelled the takeover the moment they say they were excited about how Rovers could improve the Venky's brand, and not the other way around.

  5. I still wonder why his name is not mentioned whenever one of the top clubs are searching for a new manager. I mean, he was such a good man, excellent manager, could spot a talent and manged to bring championship football to the owners (still convinced that's what he said and the owners thought he meant champions league).

Yes! Hate this. If i was up to me, I'd give every one of them a yellow card for handball.

The joke that is Financial "fair" play. Said to protect the smaller clubs...

"Transfer bans", where the club are not allowed to sign players, but still can sign players, just don't register them for the club. Lex Barcelona, who presented 77 players the day the "ban" was lifted 2016. That's good transfer works, finding and signing 77 players in one day...

General amount of money spent in footbal today. Average players making disgusting amounts of money.

    The list could go on...

I don’t remember a single person on this website saying Evans contract was a good idea but you carry painting it as if a select few clever lads on here knew best.

Oh you mean there’s pro’s and con’s to situations? It’s never simply black and white? Get out of town mate - that’s too sensible for here :)

The shambles? I’m sorry Rev but I disagree. We stayed up, we added quality to squad- yea BB at this point needs to step up but I don’t buy into this constant whinge about transfer business.

As for loans. It’s just the business we are in. If you are a professional (use Reed as an example) who wants to improve and play every week - you’re not going to leave your club until you know that door is shut. Other players will wait for the best money.

You can call it suicidal if you want, I call it a product of being in the scenario we are in. Read a potential tidbit from above, much on hold till EPL decide squads.

    Just a reminder for those who can’t remember what a summer shambles looks like;

Ahh, the man with the most ironic last name in the history of football!

All the links online are of Joe Hart to Arsenal....

That guys career has been on one savage downwards trajectory, arguably moving back up slightly if he comes here after where he was last, but still.

What did the dingles make of him? Ye would know more of them than I

You'd think he would have become a better keeper at burnley, with growing that extra 6th finger on each hand and so on...
