Is Ainsworth under contract at Wycombe for another year and if so would we pay compensation to lure a manager from another club.? When did we last do that?
Ainsworth seems to be No.1. choice with the Nobber’s fans, for many of the same reasons that have been put forward on here. -
Ainsworth may not be everybody’s choice and probably not my first pick either, but I bet we would all feel mightily miffed if he got fed up waiting for the ditherers of Pune to make any kind of decision and he decided to go to the Nobbers of Dopedale, and we still have Mowbray here at the start of next season.

No. I would prefer to go for someone with invaluable senior management experience, as opposed to a rookie. It's not the time.
I bet Derby wish they had thought the same.

Love this latest guff from Mowbray!
And what is important is that the Club has to "develop an identity".
Utter self-serving shite aimed at the owners Tony!
Just how low can you sink?
Someone tell this bloody oaf Mowbray that we have had a very famous identity from long before he was even born.
Were the famous Blackburn Rovers !- 6

McCarthy will have given his players a good thrashing after the Sheffield Wednesday debacle so we can expect a five goal thriller with all five coming from Cardiff. No hiding place then for Mowbray. Oh there is one, Maggots office.

Most 5pm sackings at properly run clubs usually happen on a Saturday 15 minutes after a disastrous result.

A Scott Of the Antarctic job - with hopefully a better ending. It is a bit chilly though!
Maybe hypnotise Mowbray and then tell him he’s Captain Oates.

I have signed.
A really well constructed letter that asks some extremely pertinent questions. Might I suggest that it be printed in the LET, so that a reply might be more forthcoming?
It might also show if the LET are running with the hare or riding with the hounds.- 1

When I posted the pic I could not name the player between Eamon and Denis Law either. I don’t think that’s Derek Temple though. Having said that, at first glance I thought Denis Law was Tommy Gemmell.

Well I went to Bills testimonial with a view to seeing Matthews playing. He obviously didn’t play and it came out that he had wanted a fee. I disliked the greedy bar steward from that day onward. Mind you he would fit in well with many of today’s mercenaries.

There was also the ticket fiasco as well. Two of my uncles never went to Ewood again after that final because of certain players lining their pockets from ticket sales when so many fans were not able to get a ticket. I was only ten at the time and was totally gutted not to be able to get a ticket. The following year my dad promised that he would get me to the final and we easily got tickets. In a way I have to say that it was a privilege to witness the Spurs double winning team. It was even more special when we beat them 7-2 at Ewood. A truly great side nonetheless.

If Moyes was offered the Celtic job I’m sure he would jump at it, as well as his current assistant Alan Irvine., Moyes an ex Celtic player, albeit only 24 appearances, but he will fully understand the Glesga vibe that matters as will Irvine. Both born in Glasgow it would be a total homecoming.

After avoiding any awkward questions from Pune over the last few months, he won’t be able to get to the phone quick enough to tell the loons that all his efforts at rebuilding and identity have come to fruition with this magnificent victory.
Someone said the only goal left now is to finish above Nobend, I couldn’t care less about that as there are far far more important matters to attend to, namely getting rid of this no mark manager.
Mowbray Out !
