It doesn't affect all users. It's mainly a problem for those that move regularly from Forum to Home page e.g. to read articles, to vote on POTM, to listen to a podcast (🙏) & so on.

Folks who do that a lot were starting to get 502 Gateway errors & @StubbsUK managed to isolate the cookie responsible. The idea behind us sharing this was to ensure all users weren't troubled by this issue.

If it worked before & it works now...all good 🙂

    Many thanks for the explanation.

Nothing but love and respect for JDT from me here.

Impossible to really jusdge whether he was truly great or not as every transfer window we had it was a complete disaster leading to a weaker squad than what it was before.

He cut through the smog that has engulfed the club for 13 years like a stiff breeze and laid blame at the feet of those responsible.

It wasn't all brilliant, one or two games in particular were beyond awful but on the whole it's been good.

In the whole time venkys have been here he has been the only club official to show pride, ambition, integrity and most importantly respect for the fans.

So good luck Jon Dahl Tomasson, I'm sure you'll prove to be a top top manager in the future. Thanks for actually showing us what a real football club should be like and giving us, the fans, some long overdue respect.

Great post and I couldn’t agree more.

Ian Lavender was a Villa fan and chose a claret and blue scarf from the BBC wardrobe to wear as Private Pike.

Part of the best of British TV.

    RIP

Absolutely, that’s why programs like this are constantly repeated so many years on.

  4. The Eagle’s Long Goodbye World tour has four nights in Manchester at the Co-Op Live arena that is still under construction, that is the only UK venue for the final World tour. Tickets range from around the £200 mark where you will need binoculars to the £650 region. It looks as though I will not afford to see one of my favourite bands at those prices.

  5. What I can’t get my head round is how initially this despicable Rao family passed the so called “Fit and Proper” test with the Premier League. Now as we are in the EFL, and the same despicable Rao family are under investigation in India for money laundering etc., why can’t the EFL say you are not fit and proper to own one of Englands oldest clubs therefore you must relinquish control. The “Fit and Proper” scenario is a total paper tiger. What is the point of it?

The Facebook fans are unbelievable, beggars belief how accepting they are of everything.

I take your word for it as I’m not on Facebook. All I can add is, it as bad in the workplace. I work with a guy who has been a season ticket holder for years and I cannot get it through to him how the Venkys have totally wrecked our club. He thinks the sun shines out of their arse and we should be very grateful to them. These people are as dangerous as the Venkys themselves.

From the timelines I remember his family were due over in the Summer about the time he had the rug pulled from underneath him. There was a story that his wife was taking a lease out on a shop in Whalley but then suddenly didn't. I don't get why he wanted nothing then but now you think he wants paying up now.

Well why wouldn’t he dig his heels in after he was told he was being held to his contract. If the shit show of a club that this has become wanted to be awkward with him, then he is now being awkward with them. You reap what you sow.
Venkys and all their mates at my club OUT

Look the debt needs clearing the only way of doing so is selling! Sure some money needs to be reinvested but that's a Venky issue that is seperate to the fact £22m for a teenager with less than 50 apps for a Championship club with no International caps above Under 20's level is a decent deal.

You are constantly mentioning 22m. The actual deal is for 18m potentially rising to 22m. I wouldn’t hold your breath on that one.
