Actually the ticket office is closed all day. This is what it says on the club web site.
"The matchday Ticket Office will be closed on the day of the game.
Tickets are available online up until kick-off.
Tickets will be available via the Roverstore and Call Centre until 5pm."

The England total of 666 obviously put the devil spell on India. Test cricket at its best.

Let’s hope an ex East Lancs boy gives a few not outs against England.

That sort of reminds me of a certain team, nine miles down the M65🙄
It reminds me of the French who reckoned they were members of the resistance at the end of WW2

This S4C is laughable. The commentary is in English, albeit by Welsh commentators, who call it as Swansea, but the visual score in the screen is Bournmouth v Abertawe.(the Welsh name for Swansea)

I'm going make a wild prediction and say they won't face any penalties at all.
Too true. You won’t be able to see the truth through the brown envelopes.

As above, as in as my reply above yours.
They were all banned for match fixing, not for simply gambling on games.
Some of them admitted ensuring that their teams lost the game to ensure the outcome.
There’s no evidence that’s anything like what Toney was doing.
Whatever. You’re entitled to your opinion which I fully respect. Mine is that he is leading the life that many can only dream of but it obviously isn’t enough for him. Playing black Jack or roulette or backing horses is one thing, but betting on football matches when he knows it’s not allowed is another. One reason for the rule is, although he isn’t involved in the matches, who’s to say a mate of his is involved and they split the winnings. It’s because a scenario like that is possible that it isn’t allowed.

As above what? Your splitting hairs really, match fixing and betting on games even though you aren’t involved is still not allowed. Greedy which ever way you look at it.

Who was ever banned for life for gambling on football games?
Bronco Layne, Peter Swan and Tony Kaye

Ivan Toney's 8 month ban is now over. He has returned to training and says he will be available for Brentford's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Once upon a time when the football authorities had balls, players caught gambling were given life time bans not a paltry 8 months. It’s sickening to think that players at the top level earning massive money are still greedy bastards. They know the rules and choose to flout them. Throw them out the game.

People took more pride back then. There were always those who made a mess of the environment but not as many as now. The main difference is the litter is rarely cleaned up -the same litter has been hanging around our local roads for years. Council cutbacks partly to blame but what is the Highways Agency - which is paid more than £150m a year to keep the roadsides clean - doing?
And supposedly to fix potholes which also doesn’t happen. We are now like a third world country.

Take a look at the Memories of Blackburn video on the Nostalgia thread. The streets of Blackburn are spotless in those pictures from the 50's and 60's. I wonder what the main difference is to today??

I was making that point Matt in relation to the previous poster who quoted "No, it was only said that the ticket office shut at 5pm." The statement is wrong and It is a matchday where the ticket office would normally be open and today it is closed.
