Hope whoever needed medical attention in the Riverside in the second half today is OK. Lot of commotion and stewards and St John's ambulance crowding round. Crowd tried to get the ref's/players attention but the game carried on.

A win today doesn't even necessarily guarantee safety which is a bit disturbing

Leeds are as weird a team at the top of the league as we are at the bottom

They realistically can't.
Whilst there's a mathematical chance, they'll be wanting to play as if they can

Cov sold out their allocation yesterday (4,339) and have been told they can’t have more.
Yet, for the previous relegation six pointer they rolled the red carpet out, 7k, then a few hundred more as if that wasn’t enough.
They make it up as they go along down there 🤷♂️
You'd like to think they understand what a grave error it was gifting Wednesday the whole away end and this is a reaction to that but who knows.
One thing's for sure, a smaller away allocation and £15 home tickets is coming one game too late.

Stil mathematically possible for Cov to finish 6th even if they lose tonight however unlikely

That absolute sitter he missed last kick of the game away at Birmingham was his sliding doors moment. Put that anywhere other than straight at the keeper and it was a goal. His confidence would have been up and he could have gone on a run. Ironically would also have given us a point that could yet be the difference between staying up and going down.

I think it’s waaay too big. We could be in the bottom 3 by teatime on Saturday.
Having said that, if we draw and Huddersfield win then we are safe.
Its a funny old game.
Of all the possible results involving the other teams this weekend, Birmingham beating Hudds looks to be the most potentially disastrous (unless we win.)

Need Huddersfield to beat Brum and a point against Cov would be enough

Tronstad been poor today

We look so nervy at the back

A point would ensure we finish above Huddersfield with the gd but would keep us 5 ahead of Wednesday with two to play. Would still have work to do.

Of course stoke won
Of course QPR winning

Really? Huddersfield lost and Birmingham drew. Surely more relevant. We're practically there.

We're battling and defending well at least.
Zero going forward aside from one lucky break. Gallagher and Dolan offer nothing.

Absolute cliche machine this bloke.
He did NOT like that question about the fans looking at the table and being worried!
"Fans can see what we've done over last 10/11 games has been fantastic."
1 win in 13 John.

Soured on Hyam when he told the Riverside to "calm down." Terrible captain.

If you want to be really optimistic we could be 9 points ahead of the drop zone by the time Wednesday and Huddersfield play again!
Or heading for being out of the bottom three by only goal difference should Wednesday win!

Could do with a Norwich win to bury Wednesday and contribute to ensuring Coventry have nothing to play for when they come to Ewood

We're blaming the ref for rovers being inept?
He's literally got every big decision wrong: left back was playing Chrisene on and Szmodics wasn't close to being in the keeper's line of site. They even missed the blatant penalty for Ipswich against brainless Brittain!

Shambolic refereeing

Regardless of the result this evening Norwich will need to go full strength to try and finish 5th and get an easier playoff game vs an out of form Southampton
