the keeper knew exactly where the ball was just wasn't able to save it. Should have stood.

Ipswich left back was playing him onside there - should be 1-1

Ipswich can go top and you'd expect them to be well up for this to get that win.
For a couple of hours until Leeds beat Watford haha

New Sky EFL deal comes into play next season too which will presumably be worth more to Championship clubs

Hyam giving it one to the Riverside. Very fragile.

Ball throwing cretins you embarrassed yourself - 15 balls and a limp chant - my advice organise it properly or stay away it was laughable from a home supporter point of view and that from those want them out
Led to a prolonged discussion on Venkys mismanagement on live national TV so I'd say they achieved the aim tbh.

I personally think it's a strange move for a supposedly ambitious manager at his age but good luck to him. With the best will in the world it's a struggle for Sweden to even qualify for tournaments these days, let alone do anything in any. Should have stuck around in England and backed himself to get to the Prem with a better run Championship club than ours.

As an aside - the politics will be different at international level, but I think he’ll suit the role and do well.

Ultimately I decided to go so that I could say my piece and I feel like I did do. Between me and Glen we made it abundantly clear what the problems at this club were and who is at fault… in our opinion, of course.
Was anything said about the admin cock-up on McGuire and who was taking the blame?

Gary Rowett come on down

Looks like Sylvester might be taking the hit for the admin cock-up according to the Daily Mail

I work with a few different systems and it scares me just how piss poor some of them are. One in particular confirms a booking/registration but you still have to click confirm before exiting.
No warning or anything and in the system the booking/registration is visible for 15 minutes before being deleted (again without notification)
Not saying that this is the case here but there are some truly appalling IT solutions out there. That said: the most important transfer of the window - I would be triple checking as the sender and pushing for confirmation from the EFL non-stop until it arrived
Just ask those poor postmasters how bad IT systems can be!

Broughton will be gone after the EFL reject the appeal. He's in charge of the football operations, he promised lessons would be learned from last year's debacle. Whether he deserves to take the blame it'll be him that carries the can.

Hayden Carter for £8m. Some of you need your heads testing.

If we brought Ethan Horvath in on loan it would transfer our fortunes almost immediately. Send Wahlstedt out somewhere in League One to free up the wage if needed. Simple, financially doable and guaranteed to make a difference imo.
