  1. @#/?! unlucky touch from mickey gray and the horse puts it in... and Zurab needs reatment=(
  2. "Also echoe the sentiments about the number of Lancs teams doing well - remember ten or so years ago the roverstore used to sell merch with 'lancashires premier league club!' written on it!" I still have one of those. Absolutely love it. heres to the decline of all the scum in the region=)
  3. someone always seem to know where to get video clips of the goals. Any suggestions please??!!! I need to see Thommos goal. Did kugi do the dive?
  4. I think you are somewhat right about the widemen philip, but dennis Rommedahl is known for his inability to cross a ball. In Denmark we have a term for an extremely wayward cross - a rommedahl. Hes pace though is phenomenal and will cause prblems if he gets the the ball played in behind our back four - but we can pretty much count on him missing 75% of his crossing opportunities.... So compared to emo I dont know actually. For me its hard to call as emo has that extra physical dimension compared to Rommedahl which gives us an advantage defensively.
  5. I saw the game on tely today. First for a long time due to a rather busy couple of months.... anyway.. was very disapointed with the tactical sence of the players. I mean, it should be simple 101 stuf that you "end" you attack and build uos at all costs when playing a team that plays counter attack like spurs did today. Keane and defoe are both great players. especially when given the oppotunnities they where. Lucas, fergie, tugay well everybody really needs to shoot more cross the ball higher so it doesn't hit the front man etc. and therefor restrict the oppotunities for counters. the way they played tonight with constantly trying neat 1-2 and deep passes straight through the middle is just suicede. and so it proved. And by the way where the heck did fergie go today. when he had the ball it was obvious he has the skill. the passes are hard and quite accurate, but he did not run the game as he shold've. And what a goal to concede. again a bit of professionalism would be nice. just make the free kick round the center of the pitch and no worries - but no... instead brown is allowed to round all the way down our end. crist sake!! Hughesy make em watch to ours of italian footbal every day for two weeks. not any longer though. we dont want the fun taken out of the beutifull game=) Anyway. good things showing though. we could stay up yet. cheers all
  6. I was hoping for a real tactitian. A mastermind at reading opponents weaknesses og our own strengts. But who would that be. Jose Mourinho is currently unavaliable I hear as is Benites. The next best thing is a talented fella that is respected by his squad. Bottom line is - If we win a lot of games I am happy. If we lose and strugly I am not. simple. Good luck sparke. Make us happy...
  7. Like most I was in shock when I first read the news. But since then it is becoming clearer and clearer that it probably was for the best. Someone posted a link to the mirrior with the story of the little black book etc. and I found this on skysports http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.a...+backs+Pedersen it is henning berg saying that MGP shoukd be glad souness left becouse of B`GS weaknesses. I just hope we can get a real tactitian in. We have the players. Now we need the organisation.... cheers all
  8. Now now lads and lasses. cool down. If the guy is new to the board or new to supporting rovers perhaps it seem like it. personally I wouldnøt think so at all and as someone said - he did buy both Cole and Yorke. But stil if the guy is new there should be allowed some leniancy (sp?). Give him the benafit of the doubt and just ask the question with a firm - No GS is by no means racist. Would be a pitty to scare away Rovers supporters. Even if the question was daft. Thiis not a rant. And I am not trying wind anyone up. Just reminding that there are peoble who doesn't nescesarely have years and years of interest in rovers. They should, in my humble opinion, be welcomed anyway. ---- more to the subject. I am quite sad to see the Cole go. He is a top class striker who will get goals. Steady is still new to the prem, Matty - well the jury still out and Dickov is a menace to defenders but a true goalgetter - not IMHO. Gally has potential but stil I don't know. Fingers crossed Steady and Gally start banging them in right from the start so confidence is on a high
  9. Hi guys Don't intend to be mean or anything. But this was quite funny I thought http://www.onside.dk/main//uploads/news_91172.jpg
  10. jippie!!!!!! We are through!!! As a few others have said... Can't wait for the press in the morning. If anyone claims that this was fixed they'd be mad. Both teams tried their best to kill the game with de decisive goal but both fail so it ended a draw. Could stop laughing at the end though when the swedish defense rolled the back and forth... And I must say, and this is trying to be objective and focussed on the way the teams have actually played, Along with the Chech and England sweden and Denmark have been the best teams so far. Interesting to watch and always seeking to score. Denmark were in my opinion unlucky not to beat Italy, rather lucky to beat Bulgaria (still did deservedly) and well sweden they have Henke and Zlatan whos been amazing.... Instead of moaning for Italys loss eddie you should focus on the possible gain for you personally if comfort that girl of yours...=) jippie again cheers
