Apologies if it's been mentioned elsewhere but what was the FF reaction to this utter nonsense? Did they just nod along to it in agreement like they appear to do with everything else?

Ive been saying for years we'll be lucky if we still have a Club left by the time Waggott is finished, I do wonder what his end game is - no-one could possibly be that stupid.

It wasn’t mentioned at that last FF meeting.

I absolutely wouldn’t have ‘nodded along’ like I apparently do with everything else.

A very poor take from you.

  2. Dodgy stick let me down today (possibly helped me out), but not great to see us absolutely shit the bed again.

Looks like Brittain fancied Christmas off, bless him. Like the old David Dunn late December 5th booking of old.

We tend to play in extremes, either tremendous, or just playing like it’s our first ever time kicking a ball.

    Incredibly frustrating.

Just about the most enjoyable match you could ever hope to watch if you were a neutral. We dominated the first half and should have been a couple of goals up at least but our lack of cutting edge proved crucial.

Preston came back into it second half and there can be no real complaints about the result. We'll play a lot worse than that this season and win but the lack of a serviceable striker showed us up for what we're likely to be - a lower mid table side at best.

JDT must be so frustrated.Greg the egg has had 3 goes at signing a striker and come up with Hirst, Ennis and Telalovic.

    Pitiful.

And who controls the purse strings?

Thats a rather interesting take on the standing of teams from Lancashire.  Be interesting to know what others think of this and how there thoughts work in comparison to this chart.  Clearly the dingles will never be top of any chart on this forum!

I’d probably put PNE above Wigan and Blackpool tbf, but Rovers have won way more trophies than any of the rest.

If someone wants to pay £5m+ for him then that's a great piece of business for us.

We’ll certainly make a good profit, but it’s only good business if he’s replaced with someone as good, or better.

Selling your key players and not adequately replacing them tends not to have a happy ending.

im`e a confirmed utd hater but that is never offside, unless you are a var official, which means you hav`nt got a scooby doo about football

To be fair, if Maguire left that alone, it’s onside and doesn’t even get a review. For me though, if he doesn’t touch it, which I don’t think he does, then it should be onside and therefore, a goal.

Watch out for bed bugs down South mate. Worse than crabs, so I am told 😉

The whole of the sodding UK has been hollowed out whilst we all slept, IMO, all in the pursuit of profit for the few.

Rovers as a club has been hollowed out, with only a shell of the club we grew up with remaining.

Anyway, fair play to you Abbey for making the long pilgrimage to the land of 10x population density versus the north west. I do hope you get a good nights kip in your 'hotel' and that you come home with nothing more than a hoarse voice from singing the Bridge into submission, and a sore head from celebrating a great result for our beloved Rovers.

Good luck to you getting a decent pint for anything under a fiver 🙂

    COYB!

You’d need good luck to get that in Lancashire tbf!

    Really fear for us tomorrow.

Pochettino will see this as an opportunity for his team to score some goals, win convincingly, boost confidence and ease some pressure on himself.  No surprise he's fielding a strong team.

Our threadbare squad is now beyond breaking point and you can only look at fixtures against Norwich and Preston with a deep sense of foreboding.

We are in the mire and it would be foolish to pretend otherwise

Sheffield Wednesday are in the mire, you’re being melodramatic, maybe even foolish, to use your own words.
