  1. Ummm...yes..."no sorry for 4 million not a chance but er yes 4.5 million and he's yours"...? Where do you get those figures from.

They have said to the media 6 million. Now we all know how JW and the board work, you really think they would have come out and said that unless that is what they meant? If there aren't any further developments, such as Ferguson coming out and saying he won't play or something, then 6 million man he is, and million it will take.

  2. Well just thought lets say our selling price is 6.5 million, which I think is probably about right taking all into consideration.

If we sell him now 6.5 million

Rangers can cancel the 2.5 million payment supposed to be made in august

    Give us 2.5 million now

    1 million come july 1st

*I've substracted 500,000. Taking into consideration how much we would save in wages between now and July if he were to leave this week, thinking that we are paying him around 30k, and then also adding on a bit more just to make the deal better for us.

If we sell in the summer, with him leaving july first

    6.5 million

    Cancel the 2.5 million

    4 million up front

For me that is the sort of deal that I would accept to see, well either of those. I wouldn't complain if those are the terms on which he left. Oh and perhaps a 50% sell on clause? Knowing souness that means we could be in for about 10 million in 6 months time.

  3. How long did that take you to write? Was it really worth the effort? Considering this is a Blackburn Rovers Supporters web-site and most of us don't really give much of a flying sock about your lovely clubs trials and tribulations, apart from when we happen to meet in the transfer market?

Anyway, BBC reporting that Murray is apparently about to make a new bid: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ers/4203441.stm

Took me about 5 minutes, tops.

I will not have people reporting crap about my Club. I've not badmouthed or falsely reported anything to do with Rovers in my time on here.

I expect the same decency in return.

blah blah blah. More crap. Really mate, there are more important things in life than football. So dont act as if your team are 'the great one' because most people could'nt give a toss about Rangers.(our feeder club-anymore good players that we could have please?)

    Information was reported falsely.

I rectified it. If you want me to act like the other Rangers fans who've come here before, then so be it. You're "more crap" begs belief ... for the simple fact, I've not posted any rubbish in my time here.

    Don't listen to them Dado.

Really give the man more respect. He's giving us good information about a club that is looking to take one of our best players away from us, and so far he hasn't said anything wrong, he's not insulted any of you, so calm down. A bit of banter is fine but a couple of the comments directed towards dado have been quite uncalled for.

  4. I rang last Friday for a ticket in the Blackburn End for a friend and was quoted £28.

You could've sat in a warm pub, watched the game over three pints of bitter at less than £6.

The quality of football on offer last night was dire with half a dozen, at least, of our lot looking like the mediocre journeymen they are.

Good god, I wish I had the pubs you have around me wink.gif

For me if I had three pints, of what would usually be strongbow, I would pay 18 euros and the cheapest place I know. At the most expensive, which happens to be my most regular, I woudl not only pay the 10 euros to get in, but also then 19.50 for the three, so a total of 29.50, which translates into about 18 pounds or so give or take not that bothered to really figure it out. For 10 extra pounds the offer of live football would swing it my way, need to make pubs more expensive in Blackburn!

  5. Sam Allardyce tonight apologised for the behaviour of El Hadji Diouf and promised to discipline the forward as a warning to other diving players who con referees.

"Diouf clearly dived for the penalty, allowing us to score and win a match that we did not deserve, and I just won't tolerate that sort of thing at my club. It has to be stamped out of football.

"I apologise unreservedly for his behaviour to Mark Hughes and Blackburn players and supporters who must be very upset at losing a game that may be crucial to their chances of avoiding relegation.

"Of course I shall be contacting the Premier League and ask them to hand the point back to Blackburn that we gained by default and I shall also be asking them to make an example of Diouf.

"It has been a very bad night for football."

Of course Allardyce said none of these things, refusing even to condemn his player for what was clearly a dive.

    Football is a sick sport.

Good god for a second I thought that was serious and that I had seen something different.

  6. 0-1 to Bolton - Robbed - but if we dont score we cant win

STRIKER NEEDED TO PLAY ALONGSIDE DICKOV

Blatent dive as it was - I think the ref was right to call it as a pen from his angle - Lines man should have seen it though

still 7 points clear of drop though

Why do we need the @#/? Dickov? 7 Goals all season from a player whos our number 1 striker is pretty damm poor, your all acting as if Dickov is a top striker. Our entire strike force is Division one standard fact.

Couldnt agree more. If we have dickov as our number 1 striker next season prepare for another season of a dogfight. Our divison one strikeforce of Jansen/Bent is miles better then any combination we've had this year. Its simple our strike force is crap.

As flopsy rightly points out, even if they are all @#/?, the best of @#/? is still the best we've got, and based on this seasons performances, he has been the best we've had.

  7. HT - Rovers win on chances - no real saves to take note of other than Neills mid way through the half

Rovers edging it - I think Dickov would have got one by now

    I'd agree with that.

Bolton haven't really looked dangerous, and after 20 minutes we really settled down and started to become the better team. Having said that we haven't created any clear cut chances. Knowing my luck this will mean Bolton come out and have a stormer, or we come out and have a shocker, have a bad feeling if it stays like this though we will be the team to concede, anyway, hopefully we can get a goal.

  8. Well according to the bbc he's not even in the squad

Blackburn (from): Friedel, Enckelman, Todd, Johansson, Emerton, Thompson, Stead, Neill, Matteo, Savage, Pedersen, Gallagher, Nelsen, Johnson, Amoruso, Mokoena, Douglas, McEveley, Bothroyd, Gray.

The fa premier league site still have him out with a groin injury.

  9. I think this should be reason for you to match this, we don't want to sell, and we don't have to sell.

We aren't wanting to be "fair" we want to make money if we have to sell. Simple as that, you see to take this as some sort of ongoing negotiation where we will both be so happy with this even arrangement, if you are going to take Bazza, I don't think you are going to find it will be for even and fair money.
