  1. Thought it was a reliable source? Don't believe it, had that been true then I don't believe that he would have played today.
  2. I would rather sign no one this window than sign Dunn.
  3. I just grown tired of all of these people wanting him back only so that he can take the clubs money and sit on his backside.
  4. I don't wish him the best at Bolton. I hope he remains fat and injured and is a waste of money for one of our big rivals.
  5. Why throw away 1 million? They probably thought the chances that he would amazingly turn around 3 years of injuries are so slim that why bother spending 1 million on him. Not to mention the fact that getting up to 20 appearances during your contract doesn't take much, so even in an injury hit spell he is likely to get up to that number.
  6. It can't be that old, it must be from this year.
  7. Saw Apocalypto...wasn't too fond of it to be honest. Did no one else think that when the man was being attacked by the jaguar that it looked like some crappy handpuppet was clinging onto his face? It is reasonably entertaining for a good portion of the film, but it is certainly not a must-see.
  8. Tugay had a lot of positive press back in 2001/2002, but he is quite old now and so can't be seen as a potential transfer target. He is certainly praised whenever mentioned this season.
  9. I find that with most clubs if you spend everything they offer you then you will put the club in debt or at least very close to it.
  10. I've seen both of the last couple games on tv and have to say that I think Mokoena has done well. He's not set the world on fire, but apart from the penalty he hasn't made mistakes. He's been tidy on the ball and is good at breaking up play. He isn't a Tugay, but he's good to have in the squad and if he continues to make improvements to the game then he could be a pretty decent premiership player. Certainly for the price that he came in for and the wages that I expect he is on then I would say he is a good player for the team. I don't think he'll ever hold down a starting place in the side, but I've always thought he had some potential and I think that he is starting to show some of it. I'm playing down Derbyshire's talent, but I don't think that makes it inconsistent that I then think Mokoena is a decent player. Derbyshire has yet to prove himself at this level, Mokoena on the other hand has played his part in quite a lot of games and we know exactly what he is capable of. Derbyshire has shown a bit of pace and has scored two tap ins, I think everyone is happy for him and happy to have him but I'm waiting for me before I get excited.
  11. Does the increased revenue from the league performance not cover the increase in wages as a result of good performances?
  12. Been thinking about getting that for a while, so nice to hear a good review. Good game to have when you have friends round.
  13. That is certainly true with Braveheart and The Patriot, less so with Gallipoli, though I do think it was there to a certain extent (good movie though).
  14. I think he'll realise that he doesn't have too many options open to him. I can't imagine that he was on that much when he was in France and so his short spell at Roma will be his only exposure to very large wages (I seem to remember hearing 35k a week).
  15. Any news on how much the Watford away tickets will be?
  16. I think we all know what kind of movies you like to watch then.
  17. I have to admit I can't understand exactly how it works. They can see back in time for four days or something and are somehow trying to save the life of a girl who has already died?
  18. If you are happy to either chip it or have a source for different region games then I can't see a problem with doing it, provided it is a good deal.
  19. Yes, but far worse than the xbox 360 or ps3. It isn't that much cheaper than the xbox 360 and if you aren't buying it in order to use the original controller then it seems a pointless purchase.
  20. Well, they are coming out with a normal controller. So if you get it you can always just use that if you want to.
  21. It is indeed, close though and it's all the same really.
  22. Is COD 3 worth getting?
  23. I'd agree with you there Den. He's been pretty average, we only think more of him because he's a fellow Blackburn supporter. He's shown some potential, but nothing at this moment in time to get overly excited about, especially when you consider that he is what, 21?
  24. I think that is the problem he will have. At a club like ours (and I hate to use that language as it reminds me of when we had the Babel fish playing for us) he can afford to make those sorts of mistakes. We know that we won't have the perfect player and he is usually a very good defender and so is still one of our better players. At a top club, mistakes like the one that he made yesterday (which he will make 5-6 times a season) will see him dropped.
