Anyone seen a blue flash in the sky over the last few days?

The kids are all taking about it on MSN.

I've seen it twice, once outside ASDA last Friday and in Darwen on Monday.

What can it be?

What does it all mean?

I thought it was just a relection of a Police or Ambulance light or some Halogen headlights but then the girls started talking about it without me mentioning anything....

My wife and I both saw one last night over Higher Wheelton. It was very blue. I presume it was lightning, either that or Santa's had a bad smash! Posted Image

Monday night about 6.30pm, there was a great flash of what we thought was lightning.

Funny!

I think this was lightning. There's been a lot about. Very unusual with snow, ISTR.

I saw a flash the other day, and they reported on local radio that there had unusually been some lightning about, so I reckon that's what I saw too.

My dad lives up near Hoddlesden, looking over towards darwen tower. He says he saw 'lightning flashes' last week after a snow flurry.

The flash we saw was in the south and to be one of these would have to be in the west?
