Can anyone recommend an email alert download?

If you mean email alert as in a program that sits in your desktop and alerts you to an email coming in your inbox then i use pop peeper

Not as though you move away from the computer long enough for someone to send you an email you don't know about!

If you use Outlook then surely there must be some function to alert you? It can play a sound for sure, but probably more stuff.

That's what I thought, so I'm guessing he means web based email.

Thanks Tchocky. I've just had a look and there are settings for alerts and sounds. I hadn't noticed those before. Strange thing is - they don't work

I'm on outlook and hotmail.
