tashor Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 The writer of what was one of the top ten favorite albums of my youth died yesterday aged only a few years older than me I have hardly ever listened to X-Ray Spex since the late 70's but on playing Germ Free Adolescents tonight I find that I still know nearly all the lyrics My mind is like a plastic bag..... That corresponds to all those ads.. It sucks up all the rubbish..... That is fed in through by ear.. I eat Kleenex for breakfast.. And use soft hygienic Weetabix...... To dry my tears.........................................

thenodrog Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Does anybody find it a strange paradox that medical science having cured most fatal illnesses still cannot find a cure for cancer? Thus sentencing ever more numbers to the cruellest and most painful of deaths.

Plastic Head Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Pity they only made one fantastic album. Wore out three versions of Germ Free Adolescents in my youth. She was a poseur and she didn't care. Does anybody find it a strange paradox that medical science having cured most fatal illnesses still cannot find a cure for cancer? Thus sentencing ever more numbers to the cruellest and most painful of deaths. Genetic Engineering? Eins zwei drei vier!!
old darwen blue Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Throw away ? Just from my memory AS, have I got the lyric wrong?
adopted scouser Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Just from my memory AS, have I got the lyric wrong? Scrub away I think, doesn't matter. It won't be long before some bell end in Australia accuses me of being teacher's pet or summat
