St_Jimmy_77 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Hi everyone; I have recently become more active on the boards, having registered about 4 months. I was part of Vital Blackburn for a while and managed to pull off an interview with a Rovers legend. With Glenn's permission to promote Vital this can be found on the following link. Glenn thinks you will all enjoy it. I too think you will. Any feedback will be gratefully received. LINK: http://www.blackburn.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=253245 Thanks

Just as an aside, I remember seeing that picture of Ewood from an old "Football League Review" which I saw as a kid . I've been looking for it for ages!

Baz Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Great article! Glad you posted that link. Love the comments on Venkys.
St_Jimmy_77 Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 Thanks mate; I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have a further one lined up with a current player. That too will appear on Vital Blackburn.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Excellent interview of a Rovers legend.I must also say that is a superb picture of the old Ewood!
philipl Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Very very good piece. At the end it hit me that we have star struck owners but from the way it reads, they perhaps have never met the true star who goes to every match.
St_Jimmy_77 Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 Cheers both for your feedback. I knew it'd go down well with the fans on here :-)
whittle blue Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Cheers both for your feedback. I knew it'd go down well with the fans on here :-) Excellent interview St.Jimmy. This may also be of interest
St_Jimmy_77 Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 I've already seen that Whittle Blue. That was my source of some information for the questions. Brilliant videos you have on YouTube. I liked the ground development plans video. I used to go to a youth club ran by Nan Goodall who appears on the video. I have included 3 videos of yours in my blog... Hope you don't mind ;-)
St_Jimmy_77 Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 Another thing; I did a blog post about Ronnie Clayton too Check it out: http://spiritof1875.brfcs.co.uk/2011/07/25/ronnie-of-the-rovers/ Thanks
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Looking at all the video material, isn't it about time we had an official club history on DVD?...WELL OVERDUE.
