Glenn
Hi, every time I try to open this site on my laptop it freezes. I've not had this problem with any other site. Anybody any ideas what could be causing the site to freeze? Virus Scan Malware Scan Delete your cookies Try a different web browser Ultimately it's near impossible to get a website to intentionally make a modern web browser crash/fall over/die, it's almost always something evil lurking at the user's end. Wendal
I'm having the same problem but only when trying to access the site from my work laptop. Everything worked fine up to Friday and the site certainly hasn't been blocked by our IS team.

trs
Works fine on Firefox! On IE I can access everything on BRFCS site except the forum page. That's when it freezes! I take it the problem is with me?
Glenn
Hum. Looks like we may have a problem then (not that we've changed anything recently). Sadly I don't spend much time around Windows machines to test with IE, so any feedback people can offer is appreciated.
Backroom DE. Posted October 17, 2011 Backroom Share Posted October 17, 2011 The solution is simple... use firefox instead
sijoco
Noticed this earlier on in the week and l thought it was the office security software. It won't load with IE but Firefox works fine
Wendal
I've now got Firefox on the work computer and can confirm that accessing the messageboard only seems to be a problem when going through IE.
Biddy
for anyone at work who is stuck with IE and is not allowed to install other browsers, this site portable apps is an absolute god send. You'll find versions of chrome and firefox that work without needing admin rights to install. (not that I would condone by-passing your administrators god given right to make life as hard as possible)
