He resigned, you only sign an NDA as part of what is known as a Settlement Agreement if you are pushed out of the door with a pay off. I'm not sure that's entirely true, the reason I say that is because he's already spoken about his reasons for leaving, not in the media granted, but he's not hiding the fact he left due to lack of communication, no contract negotions and no plan for the coming season.
