  1. Judan Ali still a bitter bitter man it seems.
  2. All this talk about suicide football at the back, imo is just a bit silly. The players are professionals, who shouldn't be uncomfortable playing a passing game at the back, and doing so with ease. Plenty of the errors at the back, are something you would see at school boy level, where players struggle with the basics. A passing game shouldn't be difficult, when the passes are simple and straight forward, not passes where the player wants to be fancy in possession. I'm amazed at how uncomfortable our players are in possession, and this is not even playing out from the back. These are players in midfield, with heavy touches, who cant pass a ball a few yards, who get nervous when another player closes them down. JDT has plenty of work to do, to separate the men from the boys, in the next 12 months, because some of these players are not championship quality, let alone PL. Cmon guys, the game of football should be simple most of the time. Get the ball, look up, pass the ball, and move. Imo thats the sort of game JDT wants to play, so we need to find him the players that can do that, otherwise, we might as well bring back Sam Allardyce, and play that kick up a ball into sky and run after it game
  3. I don't know why we bother anymore... If the owners and board dont care, why should we? Club is a mess, and i dont really care what anybody thinks, Venkys Out it has to be..
  4. 3rd currently, powers that be, has another opportunity Get the popcorn ready
  5. in all honesty, their plan has always been to loan players, with the odd cash signing here and there. Mrs Venky said that when they bought the club, so all this war chests and money to spend are false and wide of the mark
  6. Venkys and the board need to wake up a bit here imo. Its cool to have a war chest, but the time to strike the enemy is right now, so release the funds, and bring those quality players in. We were in this very position under Mowbray, a chance to strike, cement a top 6 place, and they got cold feet, and Bournmouth and Forest said thank you very much, we'll have some of that. Give it a go, and worry about whether it didnt work at the end of the season. We can re assess, as long as this window is done well, but also still mindful of FFP. We have to do better in terms of quality, because it says plenty about our scouting system, when we bring in players, and they are no where near the standard expected of them or this league
  7. we as fans always have the worst time during transfer windows when it comes to this team, lol
  8. If i was Van Hecke, i would think very long about signing a new deal at Brighton. The guy is too good to be riding a bench, even if its for a PL team. He can do better
  9. Markanday imo, offers more than Gallagher, but what do i know
  10. Did he have a say in the Mola or Hirst signings? When you hear him talk, he often refers to Greg, so its possible that he will work with what is given to him. He did rock up and inherit most of what Mowbray had, a squad that couldnt make 1 playoff in 5 years..
  11. Thats not exactly what i meant. Im not expecting us to spend plenty. But what im getting at, is that we are in with a chance, so if there are players that JDT feels can take us home and secure our place, then i hope that he gets the support. We had a chance with Mowbray, and Venky's wasted that chance to cement a playoff spot.
  12. You can be good enough, doesnt mean the personel you inherit, is good enough to get you the results. Ill bet that if Pep or Mourinho had to coach Sam Gallagher, Mola, Hirst etc, that they would probably question themselves, as to whether they really are a good manager. This idea that a great manager, would automatically just rock up, and instantly turn a poor squad into winners overnight is a bit silly. Sometimes maybe, but in most cases it takes time and patience..
  13. Was it Bournmouth last season, that went crazy in the January transfer window, which ultimately took them up?
