Just returned from driving over 2,500 miles around Germany and watching 5 matches - all involving France. Also saw games in the Fan Fests of Koln, Hannover and Frankfurt. And walked the Fan Mile in Berlin. What an absolutely fantastic experience. The Germans could not have improved on things - their hospitality was second to none. I already sort of knew this, but Germany is a beautiful country ... with some remarkable places and sights. Spent a night in Dresden on the way to Berlin - you have got to see how they have re-built a bombed church in the centre to actually believe it. Workmanship that I didn't realise still existed. And don't ever say the Germans don't have a sense of humour - before the England/Ecuador game in the Fan Fest in Koln they were playing the theme tune to Dad's Army. I just have strong memories of colour, noise, laughter, music, cameraderie, fantastic stadiums etc. The only negative was the change in crowd type the closer to the final we got - more sponsors, less real fans. Oh, and England!! I'm completely with Tris. Roll on South Africa.

Yes - looks like that from further investigation. Pick up at any City immediately after the group stages have finished and I guess that includes the Final. Thought they (the Final tickets) may have come in the package as that's the only other game that we know where we'll be beforehand. But thinking about it, they can't issue those as they don't know if France will be winners or R/U in their group and therefore could end up with French fans sat in wrong section ... or any other team if you see what I mean. Their description and instructions aren't written very clearly though!! Whatever, looks like I'll be in Cologne on the 23rd and picking up the rest of the tickets after that!!

Have now got my TST7's for France - recieved tickets for first 3 games and a voucher. Reading the FIFA site it states the following in the customer self service: "All TST Series orders will be shipped by DHL Express at the registered delivery address. The tickets for the final round matches will be included in this delivery. Together with these tickets the DHL Express delivery will include a Voucher. This Voucher is valid for all tickets and all persons included in the order." Should line 2 read: The tickets for the FIRST round of matches will be included... OR am I missing something here. Anyone know ... Will???

The way I've always descirbed the closing minutes of this game: "When the free-kick hit the back of the net right in front of me I immediately fell into deep despair - head in hands and devastated. Minutes (if not seconds) later I saw Alan Shearer look to the touchline and then start to celebrate - we'd done it. Utter joy - tears flowing. Didn't know my body could cope with 2 such dramatic extremes in such a short space of time - probably couldn't these days!" As I child I saw my first game in January 1966. I always thought we could win the FA Cup - the smaller clubs did some times. I also believed that we may, at some point in my life, win the Leasue Cup - say no more. But THE LEAGUE?? That was for the big boys. Never ever dreamt it could happen - but it did. And I was there! I don't think anything will ever come close to that feeling. The FA Cup would be good though!!!

Yes - a fantastic night ... one of the best. I was chased across the car park afterwards and only just made it back to the coach in time ... which was then pelted from all directions!!

Just had a mad 5 minutes...loads of TST tickets became available and I've just bought 2 x Cat1 TST7's for France - which means I'm going to the World Cup Final!!!!!!!!!! Come on England. Anyone want to swap some French tickets for England tickets? Eddie - know anyone in Paris???

TST5 & TST3 just went for Angola. This is turning out to be a full time job!!!

Something that has always bothered me on this one - let's assume there are 1,000 TST7 tickets per team ... that means that 32,000 tickets have already gone for the final. How does that work then? Or ... if 2,000 TST7's per team, 64,000 final tickets gone!!! Therefore, I can only assume that the actual number of TST's available was "very small". No wonder I didn't get any!!!

It's a Team Specific Ticket that allows you to follow your team throughout the tournament - a TST7 takes you to the final, TST6 to the semi and so on.

Was on there from the second they went on sale and saw loads ... but got stuck in the waiting zone and couldn't get beyond. For example, there were TST's for Trinidad (inc. TST7's) - other countries as well - and a few obstructed views for one of the England games. Talk about frustrating ... I felt I was almost there. All the single tickets seemed to go straight away but the TST's stayed a bit longer. I was in the waiting zone for 2 hours!!

His cross for Shearer to score on VE day against Newcastle will live with me forever. One of the greatest moments in my (S$£%, is it that long!!!) years of watching the Rovers. Good luck to him.
