  1. Do they even have to take it more seriously though? It seems with the money and squads they have even mid table prem teams can make a lot of changes to their teams and still get through. I don't think we will be seeing a Chesterfield anytime soon, or even a Millwall. It's probably a distraction championship clubs with aspirations of making the play offs don't need. It's a pity.
  2. Maybe in the mind of someone who has an agenda they seem incapable of stepping away from. For logical and reasonable people it's clearly a nonsense theory designed to undermine the manager at any cost. It's quite sad actually, but luckily most see through it. You have been criticizing him for tinkering continually anyway, even up to the last game. So how do you square that with your theory? See this is what happens when you moan yourself into a corner.
  3. It does remind me of WCW circa mid to late 90s and that was the golden era for me.
  4. Ok,I'm signing up. Tis €5.45 month, which works out around a euro fifty per episode. Can't knock that value.
  5. Ya, they would be in the championship if he stayed and probably close enough to us if they gave anything resembling a decent budget to spend. When he finishes with Ireland he will go somewhere and do well, more than likely at championship level.
  6. Sounds like denial to me!
  7. No way Brock is getting up from that elbow. Ya,I suppose that is all they are doing. I'm tempted to sign up to AEW plus so I can watch their show, can't say that about impact. It's the commentators for me, makes such a huge difference having Tony and JR. Excalibur seems good too. None of them Stu Bennett though, I love that guy on commentary. He gets it.
  8. Not sure it's too late. If he comes in and psyches a dressing room up,they could go on a serious run. Although they certainly don't have as good a squad as we had. Bring back Big Mick eh.
  9. He would be the man alright. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he got them up. Lambert done and dusted. Would they have to pay off his contract? Madness He will end up at a lesser Scottish club I imagine. That's where he is at now.
  10. Indeed. Lambert has a face on him that would scare rats from a barn.
  11. Indeed. I have seen some great women's matches. One of Charlotte's and Becky Lynches was ,frankly, insane. As for with men, Vega sniping and doing moves whilst managing someone is fine, Sami Callihan beating Brian Cage and then losing to Blanchard clean is silly. I know the argument some make is "but the undertaker" when it comes to suspending disbelief, but I say to that ya fair enough the supernatural stuff but a woman winning a world title by beating a man with no supernatural gimmicks in sight is actually more illogical to me. It's purely woke culture. I don't think anyone wants a woman winning the world title from a man clean. It would be like Becky Lynch beating Brock Lesnar. Imagine ? 'SUCH GOOD SHIT"
  12. 5 year contract, god almighty, that club has gone fully rogue. Illogical decision
  13. Maybe with 1(or 2) but I think what irks yourself is that some don't think he is as bad as you do. Not that he can "do no wrong".
  14. Seriously? Oh ,they did alright. 100%
  15. Remember some of you were saying we should sign Pedesen? https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18279453.rovers-favourite-pedersen-finds-new-club-tromso-exit/ He has ended up in the Norwegian 3rd division.
  16. Ya, but I don't even think any of those you mention could or should be the mens word title holder. I think you are right, it's pure "wokeness" alright. Gail kim is very involved there too and I'd say she is a bit of a pain in the backside and bossy/domineering. I have seen some interviews with her and some of the stuff she says on social media. This wokeness always seems to be 1 way too(unless a man dresses as a woman for comedic value), if the NXT title is gender neutral can't wait for a man to win it so
  17. I think being 3 points off the play offs this stage is really great, yes.
  18. Again, let's not get bogged down on that word. I will change it to "really great" ,if you are more comfortable with that
  19. Or the best one "Mowbray and the players don't want to get promoted" People be crazy.
  20. No,but no point worrying about that as we can't control it. We are doing well this year. I am enjoying the season immensely. Coming on here you would swear we are Ipswich,or Sunderland. Nobody predicted we would be doing this well. It seems some on here will start complaining we didn't get automatic if we make the play offs. Whereas at the beginning of the season they would have taken your hand off for that. Changing expectations down to success I suppose.
  21. I just don't see why they have a dominant woman holding the men's title. It makes all the men look like absolute chumps. I could buy it if she got a flukey win,but they are booking her strongly and having her beat guys. Stupid. If the title wasn't involved I wouldn't care, but this is just silly stuff.
  22. I have very high standards. Hence why I'm not going to get into a pedantic back and forth with you over the word "incredible"
  23. Ssshh stop counteracting people with facts!
  24. Not sure if any of you follow Impact? I used to watch when on Challenge TV during the golden era of Styles, Cage etc. I always throw an eye on social media, but I haven't watched a full impact in a long , long time. I think they have made a right mess there, they have some good talent like Edwards, Cage, The North and especially with the women like Tessa Blanchard and John Morrisons missus. They put the mens world title on Blanchard, which I think is stupid enough, but her second defence was against Valkyrie (aforementioned Morrisons missus). Joke shop.
  25. Obviously, but after so many years of not even getting into the play-offs, it would be incredible to eventually get there and to be in the mix.
