  1. Players aren't fancied by certain managers all the time, rightly or wrongly. If he supported the club, I would expect him to suck it up and try and help out. Mowbray said he would feature, now it seems that when fans give the evidence that he says something, those who disagree just blanket dismiss it by saying "oh he says lots of things". It's a great out for people who don't have anything else to come back with. He left for the money instead of helping the team get out of League 1. From a fan of the club, that's poor in my opinion. I don't think it was the best move for him from a personal point of view either. A solid season playing mens football in League 1, would have set him up nicely.
  2. Ya, he does say a lot of things and I reckon it's massively exaggerated on here that he is disingenuous. Really unfair. If he really loved the club, he would have stayed. He had a long career ahead of him. Not sure people would be that excited about that to be honest.
  3. I think it's clear to him at this stage. Maybe he is happy to be the senior guy with the under 23s and the manager probably is as well. At the end of the day, if he is happy doing that, so be it. No point dragging his family over the country if he is happy doing what he is doing.
  4. Mowbray said he had a good chance of starting and if they lad backed himself he could have had a good year in League 1 with the team he supports ,as opposed to playing under 23s football. So he chose money and I would say he isn't really that big a fan. If he was he would have stayed and helped the club get back to the Championship.
  5. Makes Mahoneys decision to jump ship rather than play in League 1 even more bizzare
  6. Your second paragraph is a good reason not to play the same team....
  7. Pretty much, based off FIFA or football manger I would imagine. I don't know where else they would get the info, as it isn't public
  8. Ain't that truth Unless they play for your team in Rovers case though!
  9. The site they are taken from clearly states at the top of the page that they are estimates. So a guess ,basically.
  10. Ya,so it is estimates. In other words, a guess.
  11. Where is that from? Is it just estimates?
  12. I presumed that it was a one-off last night before the PPV. Not sure though. I would definitely watch another half an hour I have no idea, I wouldn't have high hopes for it. From what I have seen the women ,barring Tunder Rosa, can't wrestle. I'm intrigued about how the company is run. Billy Corgan was out last night, that was weird. I think they are doing well blurring the lines between storylines and reality. It seems Aldis has a huge stake in it. It's a great role and I think he is playing it well.
  13. Exactly. If we get that polish lad for 3 million, we could pay that 500,000 a year for 6 years. I read a book about eastern European football, behind the wall, Polish clubs are absolutely broke. I'm talking League of Ireland broke. The fact this guy has been called at his age, whilst playing there,is a very, very good sign. Poland have under performed at tournaments, but they qualify like England, with ease.
  14. Playing an optimistic devil's advocate, we could just be waiting on a better deal
  15. Ya,he would alright. If he was the one who signed him it's actually exactly what I would expect him to say.
  16. So why are you on the transfer thread?
  17. Report: Derby entered 'advanced' talks over £2.5m signing - but the deal's collapsed https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/01/22/report-derby-entered-advanced-talks-over-25m-signing-but-the-dea/
  18. I would be delighted with the 2 of them European scouting network in full flight!
  19. Now you are just getting our hopes up!
  20. How reliable is Tom Thorogood? I see lots of pages like Toms
  21. Implicated by who? His quotes would suggest he was fully behind it
