Ok. Forgot that. They didn't understand football and were being advised by charlatans. -

I think Kalinic was before their time. Look something dodgy went on with Kean and Anderson. I think Venkys took a huge scalding from that and I'd say we don't know the half of it. They have out serious money in since then. Just look at the figures. -

They did to a point. Squandered millions by putting it in the wrong hands. -

Well they would be better off throwing what they can at it ,rather than drip feed the same amount over years or decades and go nowhere Mowbray is doing well operating within the current restraints, allowing for the fact he spent 6 mil on BB BB will great a crucial goal yet that will make it all worthwhile...hopefully! This is our year ? -
Whilst I acknowledge that some (not all) people are waiting for the first pay cheque since Xmas,if a fan thinks the other issues are barriers, well then maybe football isn't for them.

It worked. If it didn't you would use that as evidence of failure. So why not see this as success?

So he gets criticized for his signings , he gets criticized for his tactics, yet we are having arguably out best season since going down? It doesn't add up! So if his tactics are so bad, how are we doing so well with his signings that are so bad? Some people need to take a step back. Ye are gone too far down the anti Mowbray rabbit hole and are unable to escape in spite of evidence that contradicts your view.

Right, better make a prediction. Heart- following the momentum of the last game I'm going to go 3-1 Rovers Head- being a Rovers fan I fear I know how this goes. We race into a 2-0 lead, all looks Rosey. We concede a ridiculous goal, things fall apart, they go 3-2 up only for us to scrap one in near the end to make it 3-3. Nobody goes home happy.

Our scouting under Souness and even more so Hughes was arguably the best in the country though. So many moves just don't work out and you really feel it when budgets are tight. Far worse wasters than us though, although you wouldn't think it on here! -
No,it's a router and the only locations are in Europe or then Canada or the States. It's so random as to whether it will work or not. Not going to give up though!

I think that's what I did,but will try that one. You're in Thailand though, ain't ya?

Ya, exactly you can use that point either way. -
Same as. Has anyone managed to purchase the video stream from ifollow? I have tried Canada, the States and Spain with no joy, all only audio pass.

We finished 15th last season, we are 11th now. How is that going backwards at this point? -
Ha ha, totally Along with his face during that interview

Ya, indeed, if they needed a confidence boost and a carrot dangling to get them motivated, well being called into the first team squad should do it.

I just wonder though who could we have signed better than Tosin? It's pretty unlikely we could have for the same as his loan fee, would you agree? Of course we can always go back to the Brereton fee and say that we probably could have for that kind of money. Maybe even a CB (4 million) and a GK (2 million). That is frustrating as I whole heartily agree that you need to start at the back when building a team. It has been that way for pretty much every successful team in history. That is a problem we have. -

Just reading online there about the stats around crosses per game. Who has the best average any player in the league you ask? -
Sharpe tweeted than Davenport was the best player on the field-good to hear!

I don't get your first paragraph. Are Downing and Johnson not the definition of established Championship players though? Albeit a bit older than ideal. As I said, we wouldn't be able to afford them if they were 28. Putting Tosin in there is odd, would you not class that as money well spent? I would. Villa were lauded for bringing Mings in on loan last January. -

Yes, but I can't help but feel he falls into the category of player who is blackened now reputationally and regardless of how well he plays, some will never change their opinion of him. -

We have a lot of good young players though, is that not planning for the future? The problem is signing top players at 27, 28 years of age is financially out of our range.
