  1. No,it's a headline. From Lancs live. The actually quotes are on LT.
  2. I think Shebby was the closest ?
  3. Imagine, or even more. Cha Ching Come on Kingy ,a good end to the season now
  4. I don't care what he says if we keep up this positive season. His dealings would suggest he isn't that bad. Maybe he was just being hard on himself. He doesn't need to do that, he should just log on here!
  5. If our players are so good and clubs below us operate so well, why aren't they trying to sign our players? Loan managers are for monitoring the loan while it's happening. Clubs below us know our players are available , so why won't they sign them? Maybe it's just the players aren't as good as we would like to think. I have no doubt we are sending them to play at the highest level we can. If your watermelons were the best, you wouldn't have to do much advertising!
  6. He does alright. He tries to be honest, but sometimes says head scratchers. The absolute best managers are very calculated in what they say. I do think though that on here people can read a page of an interview and pick the quotes that make him sound bad. Example , he said Boro have improved ,but that if we pay to our strengths we can get a result like against Wednesday. So obviously people will only use the quite about them improving to make out he is getting excuses in,ignoring the rest of what he said.
  7. Well they have improved though, haven't they? On a good run since after Xmas. If you read his quotes about the game he says we need to go for the win like we did against Wednesday. Another example of selective quoting looking for something to criticize
  8. "Finding good loan moves for our prayers" Well ultimately the moves are dictated by who wants them
  9. Downing has some good games too,but is better elsewhere. Agree than Mulgrew there would be a potential for disaster.
  10. Is every signing today a panic signing therefore?
  11. I mean it's almost a cert that Bell will get injured now. A niggle for Downing and we are screwed pretty much. I suppose Williams...eugh
  12. Important question, If Mowbray isn't on the bus,how is he getting to the game? He lives up there at weekends anyway doesn't he? Probably hitting the road in the old car around midnight I'd say. Unless we get the dreaded "no more business" tweet from Sharpe. At which point I will be avoiding the transfer thread ?
  13. Hey,I'm a saint, I never say anything to anyone!
  14. He certainly was that with Ireland anyway, but Trapatonnis tactics meant he had to be
  15. No,it's not that. It's just don't post shite if you don't know what you are taking about.
  16. Bits and pieces. Reminds me of Armstrong at times. Bit of a headless chicken, bit can dribble well. Lack of end product. Would be 50/50 hit or miss, but I suppose that's where we are at now.
  17. The lads fighting over Dacks seat at the card school at the back of the bus.
  18. That's about the size of it. He was a poor Savage. Would have been good for a newly promoted team. We had expectations of better back then.
  19. Ya, I think he realised that the move here really made his career
  20. In fairness we were just used to better players then. A lot of good managers trusted him.
  21. He doesn't look quick to me though. Looks gangly
  22. I wouldn't say someone faster than Mulgrew was quick ?
