If managers aren't judged on results, why did Coyle get sacked? -

We are doing well though and since Mowbray has come here, we haven't been in real relegation trouble. I am obviously writing the first season off as the damage had been done. Of course you could say we should be in the play off places ,if that's what you think is realistic. -

Is it any wonder @Paul Mani didn't want to share his private conversations from the session here? All that it would lead to is sniping that serves no purpose other than wasting a few seconds of everyone's time whilst trying to read some substantial and meaningful content from the session. -
The stats I saw said 25 games and 9 goals for Davies.

Well it's a new level of honesty to just outright say we only had £1.3 million to spent. It's good to just be upfront like that. -

Disagree with that. I think it's fair enough to moan, but he should then be questioned on our January window. -

When Dack got injured we still had Rothwell, Holtby and Buckley who can play that role. When Rothwell got injured we should have pushed to get a loan over the line whatever the cost. That is poor. It's still extremely unlucky that they have all gotten injured though. Any club in the league would feel the impact of that happening. You reference Holtbys injury record, as others do regularly. In the last 5-6 seasons he has played around 25-30 games a season, so he isn't a complete ambulance chaser akin to some players we have had here. It's easy just to label him that now. -

It's last chance saloon for Samuel here. He will have his work cut out, because the question needs to be asked, will he get that chance on the wing (ludicrous) or upfront? -

My thoughts exactly. Without him, we concede and lose. Our problem now will be scoring goals, but we are certainly more likely to grind results out with our defence intact. -

We certainly should have gotten someone in, at least a loan. Still, its a bit different to last season(which I think was worse) , insofar as it's very, very unlucky that Dack, Rothwell and Holtby have all gotten injured. People are looking for someone to blame for that, but I don't think that is realistic. -

So we have gone from Dack, Rothwell and Holtby to Chapman, Samuel and Buckley. Big chance for the lads. Career defining. -

Yes, he said that immediately after the game. So he really wouldn't have know too much. It would suggest this weekend is extremely unlikely though. -

They would know if he could play at the weekend though. They would have known that almost immediately. Certainly by Monday or Tuesday. I am just holding hope that there may be a miracle and that's why it hasn't been announced. -

My post you originally responded to was about announcing it. You then brought the medical staff into it. I understand how all of that works. I do see the benefit of keeping our cards close to our chests, but I think it's all the one if Mowbray announces it today. Although maybe it did keep Fulham guessing during the week. It seems we usually announce when players are injured early in the week, hence why I am holding some hope now.... -

If it's bad,I would prefer if they announced it earlier. I don't see why they would need to wait til today if that's the case. Fingers crossed it's positive news. -

It's a huge chance for him , Samuel and Davenport. Career defining even if they can stake a claim for a place. -

A pic on Instagram from the official account and it looks like Chapman training in the background with the first team.
