  1. Yes Stuart,we are all supporters here. Sometimes I disagree with others. You disagree with people on here plenty too. Are you having a pop at them?
  2. Nothing wrong with failure, as long as you learn. If we frightened people of failure, they would never try. I don't like the word in a performance review context,of which I do many with staff. I am sure you have different categories, some people don't achieve their goals /hit the KPIS in everything. You need to look at it as an overall. I don't think anyone would or should be fired for failing to achieve one of their goals,if they are achieving or exceeding even in other areas. Well done. You must have a nice manager. I don't think it's good to max out. Hence why on my team we always have stretch goals, which are hard to hit. I would say us getting into the play offs would be a stretch goal, for sure.
  3. He has injury problems though and certainly hasn't made himself must pick with his performances in the under 23s Mowbray has his faults, but he generally seems to get on with and manage players personality's well No excuse for sulking
  4. Agreed. Writing was on th wall. Need Rothwell back and some consistency from him
  5. Bad day at the office. Lack of creativity evident.
  6. Oh stop will you, nonsense. Absolutely no excuse for refusing to play for the under 23s
  7. Little twerp. I hate that shit. Who does he think he is?
  8. Yes,but both are just measures. Have you ever done a performance review where you work?
  9. Do you think he should be sacked if we come 7th?
  10. It's not a leap. It's my opinion ,which I am entitled to. As for the rest, I think it's been discussed to death.
  11. "Supporter bashing" Stuart, please stop. You are too sensitive about this type of thing. People are having conversations
  12. No Bennett, but I thought he always starts or is "shoe horned in" regardless? Can that narrative please be put to bed now? Decent team,as good as we could expect. Brereton on for the winner
  13. I genuinely don't understand what you mean. The Tony Mowbray narrative? Sounds like a shitty self help book. What narrative are you talking about?
  14. It doesn't matter. Being there at the end of the season is all that matters. Well now realistically it's very difficult due to injuries. We can all spout on about signings, but you tell me how we replace Dack and Holtby with 1.3 million. The moaners say we aren't progressing, then when it's pointed out that we have in many ways, they then say "well we aren't in the play offs". I just wonder if we did get into the play off places, would it then change to "well if it wasn't for Mowbray ,we would be top 2"
  15. What narrative? Be specific. From what I can see it seems you and a couple of others just snipe one or two sentences out of people's posts to try and sound clever. Usually out of context. It doesn't work. The adults are talking.
  16. Ya with Dack injured and all. Testament to the management and squad.
  17. You said Armstrong though,I always count him as being signed in League 1.
  18. Have you forgotten about Dack? How ?
  19. Direct and fearless. A young Duffer!
  20. I'm sure someone can do that. Some of the stuff is very trivial, to be fair. Transfers in January the biggest issue and Mowbray put his hands up. Must do better.
  21. It takes too long alright I mean that's why they appoint people though,to make those decisions. We would complain if they didn't. I don't think any of us think they are capable of making day to day decisions.
  22. I asked earlier, why did he resign? @roversfan99 What's your take? Did he have the Liverpool or United job lined up?
  23. Does it matter? Ultimately the result was the what we wanted.
  24. His role is more than ticketing policies, to be fair. I read on here a lot that we don't have aims or ambitions,so it's good to read you say we have aimed to get into the play offs.
