  1. Any player can have a bad run. Particularly when going playing in another country and league. In fairness maguire who went to Preston looked like he could step up before coming over, you could see there was something about him, Burke I'm not so sure of. To be honest though, I think that article is the definition of a 3 club rule one. I don't see how an Irish paper would know who the rovers are after if English journalists don't have a clue!
  2. No, again not what I am saying. I am saying that I would imagine Fulham have their heights set on targets other than this specific player now that they are in the premiership. Please dont call me English, I don't care about the arrogance bit ?
  3. Interesting. Definitely worth a look in and around that price range. I would hope he wouldn't be our main striking target though. I'm surprised to read he is 24 as I hadn't heard much about him before this year. My god he fair robbed Lenihan of a debut goal Saturday against the states. Did any of you see that?
  4. My point wasn't that those clubs wouldn't look at players in Scotland, my point was that I don't see Fulham being interested because they are a premier league team and I would expect them to aim higher than McGeuoch. Sunderland are a league 1 team, so I can't see him going there with so much championship interest.
  5. Or maybe they are all genuinely interested in him. It's convenient timing, but it was inevitable it would happen. Is this journalist reputable does anyone know? I don't listen to talksport. Is it basically a radio version of the sun?
  6. The journalist says the "6 million rated player" Who rates him at that??
  7. The timing is that the summer transfer window is open. He has had a great season. Did you not think clubs would be interested? Or did you expect them to wait until his contract negotiations were over? What leads to your suspicion of Cardiff over other clubs?
  8. Well sounds like Neil Warnock might. Or at least a good championship player if they go down after a season
  9. Well, I suppose none of us should be surprised that there is interest. I would be far more surprised if there wasn't. He is a cracking player. My worry is some team will take a serious fancy to him and make a big offer. I mean with the money floating around, would Cardiff offering 12 million be that crazy from their point of view. I see good championship players been quoted at over 20 million ;Maddison at Norwich being one. Sam Clucas went for 20 million. Football is gone crazy. At 12 million he could be worth the gamble. I just wonder would we turn that much down
  10. Is he a journalist? If bids start at 6 million, we could realistically be looking at 10 million by the end of the window. Hopefully we stand firm and his head isn't turned. I think he will stay, but the Cardiff link is a worry.
  11. Where did you read that? That doesnt add up. Fulham are in the premiership and Sunderland are in league 1
  12. A few accounts on twitter linking us with this guy. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diniyar_Bilyaletdinov I can't say I remember him playing for Everton. Doubt there is much in it
  13. Any I know said he was good for them. Have you heard different from their fans?
  14. Did Mowbray have Watt at Celtic or was that after Mowbrays time?
  15. I'm actually happy Shearer didn't come here then, would have ruined a magical legacy
  16. Ah lads, ye will be outside Pilkingtons house in his bushes next Great detective work mind
  17. I stand up for everyone who deserves it Actually, the Irish way is to be critical of our own. Have you ever heard an Irish person speak about Bono ?
  18. Name 1 of those hundreds we could sign for £500,000
  19. He is bringing Jody Morris with him who has won all round him with the Chelsea youth teams. They will bring some of them in I would imagine. Budget restraints and Lampards inexperience will be the deciders though. They haven't stuck with managers much in recent times.
