I very much doubt that. What's your speed over 50 metres? When you get up from the keyboard obviously What level have you played at yourself? I'd say if you scored 20 goals in LOI, you would get a move to the Championship or at least league 1 What channel do you watch league of Ireland on out of interest?

I haven't seen us linked to one player by a reputable source yet

I never understand that "Tom" insult. I think it's black people who act white, right? Is it not a racist thing to say?

It means litearrly everything. With a bit of quality which we have, we could go far

They all want to get the band back together Great to see

Carlos Villeneuva. Didn't ince spend over 4 million on him? Edit, actually it was a loan with a fee of 4 million if we wanted to make it perm -

You can even see the rovers fans applauding that one -
You can be quick and athletic at 29. I know what Mowbray has said, I read all the articles. You said you don't think we should sign anyone 29 or older, I said this was odd. Now you are saying that you didn't say it, that Mowbray did. Anyway, I hope we sign mostly players of around Dacks age, but if a good 29 year old comes up, I wouldn't rule them out and I doubt Mowbray will either.
-
Your comment was "don't thing we should be looking at players at 29 years old tbh" That suggested to me it was your opinion.
-
This lad sounds good. We should sign him. Possibly on loan. Do you know anything else about him? Also, are you saying 29 is too old? Chaddy, you ageist

Better than Flanagan out there, with less baggage. Doesn't strike me as a Mowbray type personality anyway

Some great players there and i think you might even be leaving some better players out, eg John Terry, Bobby Moore and the legendary Big Jack Charlton! Edit, sorry I see now you were intl referring to 80s and 90s players -

Especially that he played for utd -
Remember we had a bright yellow one with roses on the side? I loved that one when I was a young lad
-
Paul Gallagher just signed a new deal with Preston. We won't be signing him anyway
-
Great first signing of the window for us

Dark yellow with blue trim would be nice. Although i would prefer red and black. Less chance of clashing with one bright, one dark. Blue/white and yellow I would classify as "light" coloured

So saluting once and maybe or maybe not doing it a second time is totally out of order. Remind me not to cross you I obviously love Duff. He is the best player who has played for both my favourite football teams, so I wouldn't hear a bad word said about him. Totally biased. I will say though that this non celebration stuff has gotten completely out of hand and is now more noticeable than actually celebrating. At the end of the day, shouldn't players just celebrate, what's the harm in it? If the goal was to relegate your old team, obviously not, but in any other instance I don't see the problem at all. We all revelled in Leon Best scoring the OG for Charlton this season. It's football banter Duff never says a bad word about rovers, always said he had a great time and credits the club with giving him his big break in football. -
My god, you did well to find negativity in those comments. Well done sir.

he means bids, talking, meetings, all irrelevant until the player signs on that dotted line!

I think he is more famous for being mates with Bono! Interesting character all the same -

I read an interesting book a few years ago while on holiday called "The greatest footballer you never saw" about a player called Gavin Friday. It was a great book and written in a really interesting way through interviews and old newspaper reports. Do any of you remember him? Sounded a real talent , but had many off field issues throughout his short career -
Anthony Bourdain has died. I really enjoyed watching his show. Pure mindless, light entertainment. Lived like a rockstar; drank like a fish , ate unhealthily and smoked like a chimney. I hope he went happy and it wasn't suicide Edit Apparently was suicide
