  1. Come on then, who was the second person to voted no. We no 1 was Shaddy and he gave his reasons. Why doesnt the 2nd show some guts and own up
  2. Well i didnt help get George Graham in, But its still a good choice. Im a pleased
  3. Rovers 3-1 Pompey Gray (31) Yakubu (42) Stead (61) Emerton(67) Att: 27,502
  4. He also scored against Arsenal in the QF
  5. I see that Kammy,Jim and that Norwegian fella were all wrong about the mark hughes deal being done and dusted
  6. Finally, now the crowd has someone they apparently like, will they make some bloody noise?
  7. If it was done, why would he take over after the pompey match?
  8. Nissa!!
  9. Why's that? If he keeps us up Jim he'll have done well, and if we go down he possesses the knowledege and experience of Div 1 to bring us back. Dont know why Jim cares anyway. He said he wants that crap newcastle united asistant who was sacked and has helped achieved newcastle win eff all and failed to stop the newcastle 'brat camp' getting worse
  10. Well I loved Le Saux while he was at Rovers. Maybe my fav player. Shame he was such a little rent boy in the end. I mean what puff would ever collect antiques
  11. maybe so. 1 thing i missed out about Hughes is that its clear the players want to play for him. Which will hopefully mean we will see the best of our players which can only be good and I'd now expect them to always give 100% unlike some of the performances over the past year. Whoever the manager is, if the players want to play, we will win more than we lose. Hughes is not my prefered choice but I will back him all the way!
  12. Oh well, I wont get my wish of getting George Graham. But at least Mark Hughes is even more of a defensive manager than George. Some of his team selections for Wales have been baffling and way too defensive. Unlike Geroge Graham who knows how to sort out the defense and make a team nick a goal and win
  13. maybe they are awful because they have no money to buy any players. They are playing just as bad as we are but at lest their players have a bit of bottle. He's hardly a one season wonder, he nearly managed to get Oldham promoted while they were in administration and had to sell their best players. If your calling Dowie a one season wonder, you could do the same to Hughes. also , if hughes hadnt played for us before, I really doubt that he would be such a popular choice
  14. Bryan Robson is now 4th fav with Ladbrokes at 8/1
  15. it will start again in 2mins. As JW said, the manager wont be named till next week Isn't it now next week since JW said that? nope. He told todays Mirror that the new manager will be named after the pompey game but hopefully before the Charlton game
  16. it will start again in 2mins. As JW said, the manager wont be named till next week
  17. Just goes to show that the bookies no eff all about anything.
  18. it sounds more like a hair gel product
  19. I took a bit of a beating when I suggested that first point of yours. Just change the first 'people' word with 'foreigners' and thats basically what I said.
  20. Yup, this probably also suggests he's like souness(with his little black book rules) too! click
  21. here is the Levein BBC link . hearts manager for rovers?
  22. Well the Sunday Express is saying that Mark Hughes is set to quit Wales and take over at Blackburn
  23. agree. I really dont care who they appoint. I trust the board not to make a stupid appointment like Peter Reid. But it does not look as if Graham will join Hopefully we can have a new manager by Monday so he can have a whole week to train with our squad. The pompey game is now a MUST WIN game new ladbrokes odds are: Mark Hughes 6/4 Iain Dowie 2/1 Dick Advocaat 3/1
  24. We need to patch the defense. Read my sig for the answer to that
  25. Id prefer Megson to both Dowie and Hughes
