Nobody created anything people are discussing what the manager said i don't know why that's so hard to deal with i could understand if people were making it up. Might as well put a blanket ban on manager interviews, it would be worse if no one was interested in what was said.
Anyway, roll on the season...
Well thats not entirely true but I get your point. But there are so many specualtive posts in here that lead to 5 pages of TM bashing without any substance
The time to judge a window is when its shut. Not day to day, hour to hour and interview to interview.
To be fair though I imagine every forum for every team is the exact same this time of the year. Nature of the beast I guess

3 excellent goals there. Tremendous pass for the last goal

Modern day football isnt that physical anymore. His slightness is his best weapon really.
Worst thing they could do is try and bulk him up and slow him down and risk injuries with to much size his frame isnt built for

No games means nothing much to talk about. If the season was underway I doubt we'd even notice what TM was saying half the time.
Slow news = create news

Or the scary thought is he reads this forum and just does it for the lol's to wind folk up. Yup thats it, deffo.

Be intersting to see if thats our usual 4231 or a more attacking 433

I know we are overloaded with CM's. But still think we will miss Harrison Reed next season.
Would have quite happily seen Evans and Smallwood depart if it meant bringing in Reed.Would quite happily seen my left bollock depart if it meant bringing in Reed.
Lad was a proper player. Him and travis could have been some pairing this season

If he hasn't got the legs to be a winger anymore how on earth is he going to cope at being a wing back?!
More Mowbray nonsense to me.
lol 1 speculative post on a forum and it is more Mowbray nonsense. Have a kit kat and take a deep breath

Mej I dont buy it one bit. No way he plays full back

If he is left back and thats a big if.......could he really be worse than bell and williams. Certainy offers us a more dyamic approach going forward

Some of us have been after a big BSH CB ever since Hanley and Duffy departed. I would have Grant back too but I think he's out of our reach.
I havent followed his progress for a while, but i thought he had fell out of favour at Norwich

I'd get Grant Hanley back. Think he and lenihan would make a good pairing. Both aggressive, no nonsense types

Trouble Nutall has and most strikers these days is most teams play with 1 up top. So you have to be able to lead the line and hold it up.
He seems like he has the tools to do that, he just needs games on loan to develop the know how to do it and learn his craft
-
Its not always as simple as saying we need a centre half and then getting one.
United have spent the last 3 windows trying to sign one, without any success and they are arguably the richest club in the world
Im fairly certain TM is trying for a defender or 2, but we have to give him the full window.
So much happens late in trasfer windows, it drives fans mad, but its how these windows unfold these days

I'm a massive fan of him and like you say, could be a massive player if fit.
He has the ability to be a difference maker in them close games. Just badly needs a run of games and to stay fit

Chapman starting for the u23's tonight. Fingers crossed he can get 90mins

For me he is an upgrade on Raya so that good, but Im disappointed it makes no mention of a loan to buy. Seems like he is a stop gap until we maybe find a keeper again next season

I think the hardest thing to do in football is to achieve what you are supposed to achieve. Nearly all clubs fail to achieve what they set out to achieve each season. Its why so many managers get sacked etc. Yeah TM's goal was promotion from league 1 and anything less would have cost him his job possibly. But to not give him the credit for acheiving his goal isnt fair for me. We needed that promotion badly and he delivered it

I think most full backs get stick these days. I think it was Jamie Carragher that said full backs are either centre backs chucked there, or wingers chucked there.
Centre backs tend to be decent defensivley but poor going forward and winger types are the other way around.
Tends to lead to fans critizing them one way or another for the weaker part of their game
The full backs that are good at both command a massive premium these days and go to the top 6 clubs for mega money.
Im obviously guessing having never seen him play but I wonder if west brom fans werent happy with him at right back becasue he isnt that great going forward

Possibly, but then I imagine he has been the smallest player all his life. Not stopped him reaching this level and Im sure it wont stop him going forward either.
