We have two U21 squads, the main U21 squad plays most Saturdays at ewood at 3pm. First game be derby on the friday. Well that’s the clubs direction it seems.

We scraped relegation btw, signing cheap players (like above) doesn’t mean we now need 5-6 signings because a GK has been brought in. That area needs an experienced championship Gk. I feel some posters think just because we brought a player in we now need less signings. Nope, the squads a shambles, first 11 isn’t good enough clearly. We’ve brought in nearly 30million and I expect at a minimum that we bring in 4-5 new starter players. Not these cheap squad fillers. Players in our starting 11 should be hitting the bench making way for new improved players. I expect zero players coming in that will improve our starting 11. Hope I’m proved wrong but what we have been linked with looks like garbage to me.

I’ve stopped going for the last 3 years, nothing exciting going on with the club, no direction, passion, I got miserable being at ewood with it being so empty and with a dead atmosphere, when it starts ruining your weekends it just gets to the point why am I doing this, sad thing is now I’m starting to not miss it, at one point there must of been 10-20 meeting up for the games and now none of them go. Sad times.

A player of o’briens calibre could be the difference between promotion and midtable, in the position we find ourselves it’s a huge **** up. This deal could really impact our season, also 100M+ if promoted. Heads should roll.
