I'm in the give Joseph a go group. We really have nothing to lose. Henricksson has put the effort in and done okay pressing, but offered absolutely nothing in terms of goal threat. Put Joseph on from the start and bring on Henricksson to close out the game. While I am not as down on the overall squad as some (its bad but weve had worse in the last 15 years) the current striking options with Gudjonsen injured are definitely the worst ever imo. And thats with me rating Ohashi!

Millers a committed defender and been significant part of our quite good defensive record. But on the ball he is a total liability. I cant fathom why we put him at RWB.

On his day hes very good imo, but with injuries and his mood those days can be far apart, and not someone you want when things are going against you. And he's on double the money that anyone else is on.

Still seen enough this season to think its unlikely that we go down. But definitely possible.

This is absolutely spot on. Enough goong on to just keep us alive but nothing more than that.

Cantwell really doesnt look like he gives a toss. In September I was quite impressed with how motivated he seemed. Id not be against him going this month if there was a bid. Just freeing up his wages would give us something to bring in forwards. Weve got more points without him than with him.

Why why why are we playing 352 with Miller and Pickering at wing backs when we are 2-0 down???????????????

Although we've not been good this season, usually weve been pretty competitive but blunt. Today we have been totally outplayed and do look like relegation candidates.

Pickering just hasn't got the legs to play a role in the team at lwb. Im so bemused weve stayed with 352 after losing both our wing backs.

Ohashi is so much better than any of those. I feel bad for him being put in this position. Cantwell is having a truly abysmal game.

Wow losing Hedges not going to help us... The one player who can carry the ball a bit. We should definitely go to a back four. No point personnel wise continuing as we are.

For me he has been pretty good this season till his injury, but has looked well off it since hes been back. Lethargic, poor body language, too many touches and unnecessary risks. If I could swap him for a fit Gudjohnson (who i dont particularly rate but would at least balance the attack) I would.

To get a point from this position would be a real achievement in the context of how we have handled going behind over the last 5 years. And thats without the complete lack of any attacking quality. Probably need to think of something quite radical. With the terrible options we have we probably need to put Cantwell further up. Maybe go 4231 and put Cantwell at 10, TGH at DM, and give one of the young lads a go at winger. Not inspiring.

Yeah - I think Dennis, Woodrow etc teaches us we are much better to get someone hungry as opposed to players who have completely checked out. Id go for someone with a good scoring record in a lower division than a poor scoring record in a higher one.

I suppose Pratt and Litherland have hugely exceeded expectations, so the same logic applied to O'Riordan. I know this is a logical fallacy, but then again if you phrased the question as "who would perform better out of O'Riordan or veteran/unknown overseas recruit" its a very hard one to call. I suppose we can recall him Jan 1st and see how he does.

Agreed... We seem to have completely fluked it with Pratt and Litherland, and after those two Id be prepared to give Powell a crack if Hedges is injured. Lets throw all the money at strikers as that is what we desperately need.

The quality in this game has been really remarkably low. Wednesday have offered such little resistance and keep giving us the ball. But we just give it back.

Cantwell has done some nice touches but terrible shooting and final ball.

Hes superb at what he does (relentlessly press). But if you take that away he seems a bit lost. I think we have to give one of the young lads a go.

Ohashi is such an off the ball pressing player. In a game like this where the opposition just let us have the ball he is all at sea.
