I guess the approach might be give Mori and Cantwell complete free reign to get forward, maybe with Miller as he has an engine to give a little bit of support. Expect Picking to tuck in beside Tronstad while Cantwell goes very wide left. Id worry if we are expecting Pickering to overlap that he just isn't going to be able to either defending or attacking well as he cant cover the yards (same as Riberio). No point setting him up to fail.

Well no idea how good Litherland is. But generally still feel this team is quite a bit better than the Hope Akpan etc era.

The tickets and visiting the US are so so expensive in the midst of a global cost of living crisis I do wonder if the whole character of the tournament will further deteriorate. Will it be mostly rich Americans, celebrities etc, and not many actual home fans? I don't imagine too many empty stadiums, but I expect the atmosphere might be a bit muted and shit. Great shout that... Hadnt really thought about it but guess they are similar forward runner types. But Ohashi is so much more effective. Gallagher was just a big unit, whereas ohashi carries the ball well and has a bit of skill. And surprisingly strong and physically competitive for his size, while Gallagher was the inverse...

Ohashis been one of our best players all season. Not the best finisher (except just now- brilliant!) but off the ball he is absolutely sensational. How people dont rate him I just dont understand.

Why would we get the biggest defensive liability we have and plop him in front of the defence effectively on his own? Ismael must have seen something from him to decide to give it a go.

If he doesn't sign another contract in the EFL where he can easily get 15k a week, and instead chooses to earn a quarter of that in Norway hats off to him. But im fully expecting him to sign a pre contract with Derby, Watford, QPR, Middleborough in feb. The family thing I am sure is right but no one walks away from a million quid extra on a two year contract. We really are absolute specialists in giving our best players away for free. Must be the best the division has ever seen?
