  1. Recorded this TNA and watched a bit. This is more like it for me. I always liked how HH would say "all the little Hulksters"!
  2. Shake, Rattle and Roll - Big Joe Tuner, Bill Haley & his Comets
  3. Thought some might find this story interesting. As for Hulk, I thought he confessed he used some steroids and I thought he had some sort of health troubles, not major like the heart but maybe a little trouble walking after his wrestling career. I forget at the moment.
  4. She lives (in a time of her own) - 13th Floor Elevators
  5. Dionne Warwick - Do you know the way to San Jose
  6. Run through the Jungle - Creedence Clearwater Revival
  7. I see now when TNA comes on, I will look for it. Not too happy with the alternative. http://www.impactwrestling.com/roster/Wrestler-Roster
  8. 'School's Out' = Alice Cooper Despite cutting his teeth in the Western US, I think Alice is a Motor City product as well.
  9. "Ain't that a shame" - Fats Domino with covers Cheap Trick, Paul McCartney My tears fell like rain...
  10. You don't have to say you love me - Dusty Springfield (by the way, the Kinks rendition of 'Beautiful Delilah' as I listed previously, is one of their songs where Dave Davies sings it, the guitar playing brother and on his own compilation)
  11. Beautiful Delilah - The Kinks Yes, a Chuck Berry song but they did a very fine version on their debut album.
  12. I Feel Like a Bullet (In the Gun of Robert Ford) - Sir Elton John
  13. 'The Rain, The Park and Other things' - The Cowsills
  14. They're bringing back the Milk Race as a one day event in Nottingham. The Milk Race has a lot of lore about it. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/general/others/cycling-nottingham-shows-bottle-for-the-milk-race-comeback-8552500.html I also love the old milk race bikes. Vintage bikes, reasonably priced.
  15. Allman Brothers - Done Somebody Wrong Dirty Water, definitely know that song, classic, great beat, I group it with another song I consider another early "hard" rocker in my view, I'll have to remember to say that one given the opportunity. And a few covers of the song.
  16. Young, Gifted and Black - Nina Simone (here's another cool high-traffic blog about pop-rock, rock and roll, garage rock in the Spanish Language: http://66spanishgarage.blogspot.com/ and a number of English language songs done in Spanish)
