  1. There's a lot of room, you can have very many hand positions on the handlebars (as the link comments on), I should have added earlier too, people can put their brake handles in different places, as below. From the site "VeloRambler.com", new one on me. This person has an elaborate set up but I don't see a mirror which to me, is a must have when I ride. http://www.velorambler.com/2010/07/31/trekking-bars/ But I just covered the bars with some cotton (hockey stick) tape, I have some foam (hockey stick) tape too, I put underneath for cushioning, no leather on my bars, I don't need it but some might like that. I have an array of blinkie lights, just lights period to be seen along with my torch.
  2. Well done analysis, I remember when Salgado is a hero volunteered for this.
  3. "Tracks of my tears" - Smokey Robinson and the Miracles
  4. "Twist and Shout"- Top Notes (whoah, somehow had a song up that had naught to do with the previous post, so in a hurried way, I posted this)
  5. Let the good times roll - Shirley and Lee
  6. Disco Lady - Johnnie Taylor
  7. "Great balls of fire" -Jerry Lee Lewis
  8. Santo and Johnny - "Sleep Walk"
  9. Nashville Teens - Tobacco Road
  10. Will you still love me tomorrow - The Shirelles (Some songs, I heard on satellite, previously, I didn't know well at least, about "Sally go round the roses", one source I remember tout it as being the first "Psychadellic" (misspelled, ok) song and I read some article on it's other possible meanings. "Great Society" which was Grace Slick's first band performed that song as well in their group act, of course, years after the original.)
  11. Gene Vincent - Race with the Devil (Always wanted to do that one.....even if it's a bit out of the vein of the general run here of songs.)
  12. Rock the world - Third World
  13. "Monster Mash" - Bobby "Boris" Pickett Finally came to me... (1000 stars in the sky, that was a good one to mention earlier)
  14. In my thoughts, saddened.
  15. One Monkey Don't Stop The Show - The Animals
  16. Red Skies at Night - The Fixx ("Watcher of the Skies", the Peter Gabriel Genesis group, good choice.)
  17. Sweet Cherry Wine - Tommy James and the Shondells
  18. Lots of room as this photo from the net shows, thought I'd put up another photo so you see where the brakes and shifting goes. Also have a front rack I need to put on, it really allows a lot of room to carry along with my back rack.
  19. I have some "Trekking" or "Buttlerfly" handlebars. I would recommend them, wish I'd always had them, not only are they ideal for hand positions, if I am riding where there is not much traffic, I have a transistor radio on them I will listen to, no headphones, just radio like in a car, mirrors too. A lot of room though mine are probably not light weight like these. I have a slight hand-wrist ailment and I think these are helpful.
  20. "Mountain of Love" - Johnny Rivers
  21. Sort of a Eulogy on Ebert that might interest some. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2013/04/06/what-roger-ebert-taught-us-about-dying/
  22. "Smoke on the water" - Deep Purple
  23. A thousand miles away - The Heartbeats
  24. Roll away the Stone - Mott the Hoople
