Happy days! Feeling positive.
To save the question being asked by JAL - Key Sports Managment Ltd.
Darn it I wanted to ask that question

having seen some players drop in the box lately I think that sniper lives up there

looked like about 15,000there tonight ,but venkys will declare it at 100,000, it was strange to see a decent crowd there that was still all there at the end, but then again riverside was empty from the start.

I see the Rovers website home page only has comments from Mowbray.
As he is only a head coach and not even a manager, that shouldn't be his remit. However again it is left to the person that picks the team to front up as the face of BRFC once more.
Pity we've not got a director of football or something to communicate with the fans at a moment like this.
When are illustrious owner going to comment on how their baby is doing?

I will be surprised if we survive I cant remember a team spending so long in the bottom 3 and surviving I think we have only been out of the bottom 3 for 2 weeks all season.Thought we would go down after first game, squad just not good enough for any league, has anyone gone down with out being in the bottom 3 until the final whistle of the last game?

good investment fro a side fighting relegation I thought they had problems meeting FFP

Sadly Leeds are on the beach ready for the playoffs so Burton will win that. Based on form we have to beat Bristol. Don't and we're toast.
Fulham are only 3 point behind them so there can be no slip ups.

I cant believe that people are discussing Tony Mowbray`s sartorial elegance on here when we are unbeaten in three perhaps we should slate his dress sense when we loose a game.

final score 2-1 Ward and Hoban both did 90 min

Mowbray is happy to have the title of Head Coach, implying he is happy to have such restrictions in place (if they even exist, we won't know til it comes out).
quite a few clubs call the person in charge Head Coach, noticed on sky the other night they called Paul Lambert Head Coach

hopefully things might change with the Mahoney situation he might not have fancied working with coyle, heard a whisper he hates doughnuts and is not very good at table tennis. Lets hope he stays now with a new manager .

It does seem odd that he's made such incredibly perceptive comments and basically hit the nail squarely on the head when presumably he can hardly have seen us play.
I presume he knew he was getting the job before the Man Ure game. You wonder if his comments are based solely on what he saw during that 90 minutes or on the basis of some input from Lowe and Dunn because based solely on that game I'd be sat there rubbing my hands thinking everything was hunky dory.
I hope as soon as he was offered the job he got down to watching most of our games on the clubs dvd.

another good win tonight for the u23 at leyland.

Inspired by a thread on the Football365 Forum.......''Worst Ever XI''
I have dug up this beauty from 11 years ago, partly to see what people said 11 years ago, and also to see how little we knew back then that those would be 'the good old days' of recent times.
Pre Venkys, a phrase that will only be exacerbated as time goes on.
Please enjoy reading back through the comments, some funny in our current situation, some obviously that won't have changed. As for worst XI, any team nowadays
Based on several (or alas) more appearances.....
Steele.
Henley-Peacock-Rekik-Williams.
Etuhu-Lowe-Petrovic.
Goodwillie-Brown-Varney
I think Herold Goulon might get in that team

Emnes won't be signing for us permanently, we wont match what he is on at Swansea and why would he walk away from a contract for a pay cut when he can go out on loan and get his full wage.
Also, Giles Barnes is garbage, there is a reason he is playing in the MLS lets not try and convince ourselves that someone who was average in a poor Donacaster side 4 years ago is going to improve us or be some form of coup.
did we not buy doncasters player of the year 4 years ago and that did not work out well for Chris brown

If madam turns up do you think Elton will do a special performance of "The Bitch is Back".

i bet he can get more than 10,600 people on, it will just show that if you get something decent performing on the pitch people will turn up.

Maybe a cheeky loan move for Rhodes his future is not looking bright

Bournemouth hit with £7.6m fine for breaching FFP rules when getting promoted.
And still nothing for QPR
-
What i dont get is ffp is almost impossible to police so why not just have a wage cap for the leagues below the prem, players are not just going to walk away as there would be nowhere to go .Might make them try harder to get to the promised land of the prem and work hard to stay there as wages would drop .would take a few years to impliment as current cotracts could not be changed and a relegation clause would be automatic so finacial planning for clubs would be easier as you would know your wage bill for the season.

Its all pretty irrelevant every player that plays against us wants us to loose,so when we sign a player they will probably have at some time wanted us to loose .
