If we sell Armstrong, at the very least new contracts need to be given to Lenihan, Rothwell and Nyambe.

If there are any decent freebies left, although unlikely, maybe we could make a move for 1 of those with some of the AA money.

Id be surpised if there's enough left in the kitty to buy a home shirt from the club shop after venkys take their cut.

Brereton stuff is getting a bit silly for me now, when he starts to even be of a decent championship standard we can talk about hype. As it is it’s delving into the world of grabbi and rochina

Not quite sure what the point is here?

We've spoke about capitalising on the Chile fanfare around him, which is backed up by the numbers of followers on Instagram he now has since his Copa America appearance. His previous returns as a Blackburn player and what he may deliver in the future aren't what we've been discussing.

what evidence do you want? but I trusted the person who told me.

We will sign around 5 players this summer.

Nyambe has 172 first team games, Pickering has 167 first team games, Brereton has 145 first team games, Wharton has 110 games under his belt. These aren't kids but players will over 100 games to their name.

shame he hasn't played there much

Do you think that is 5 permanents + loans?

Or 5 in total (permanents and loans combined)?

I just hope that somebody in the corridors of power at Ewood has the good sense to see the commercial opportunity there is in Chile and cash in on Brereton mania.

    Somehow I doubt it.

We might as well send every kids shirt from last season over to Chile. Absolutely insane if we don't.

Even players on social media taking a stance on this

Would Ander Herrera (employee of a sovereign wealth fund) be saying this if he still played for United? Would PSG have signed up if their CEO wasn't on the UEFA committee and CEO of Bein Sports who've shelled out god knows on CL rights recently.

The game wasn't taken away from us over the weekend. This has been a slowly bubbling process ever since the inception of the PL. With greater spoils on offer, the more scrupulous the characters that appear.

I've seen some people state that the governing body for this might be better than UEFA/FIFA. I'm unsure how a body founded on the principal of guaranteed safety and protection from any kind of financial or competitive loss, would be motivated to instil integrity of any kind.

They aren't here for me and for you - they want these kids who follow their favourite superstar, not one club.

Welcome to the World Series of football.
