That's a gauntlet thrown down to Gally there. A kid thrown on Infront of him.
And he has zero excuses.

Hasn't Lampard had some pelters from former Everton players about his absolute shite tactics and training?
He's another Paul Ince, the wheels fall off once his ideas get across to the team.

It’s like in any walk of life - if your attitude is wrong ultimately you’ll never reach your potential. When I trained apprentices the one thing I looked for was “ attitude “ . If it was good I could teach them all they needed to know, if it wasn’t good we were both wasting our time. What was that lad called that Utd blew out a few years ago and he then drifted from team to team ? He was majorly talented but his attitude was all wrong.
Ravel Morrison?

A new pitch.
Agreed, it's a disgrace
Does a pitch replacement fall within the realms of FFP?

Absolutely true. This is where the manager needs to come up with a different approach for some games.
Stoke set up to nullify our game. Change it up then FFS!
Playing devils advocate, why would you change a winning formula?
After the first half, I agree, but going into the game with the same 11, no arguments.

Zero issue with starting the same team from last week - they all deserved to keep their places. Massive issue with no subs at half time.
Agreed, I'm on a do in Glasgow watching it, genuinely gobsmacked for the first 5 minutes after the break that Dolan and JRC came back out for the 2nd half.

Absolute wank from start to finish.

If the ref can't see that, then the linesman should've.
The standards in this country are woeful and that's being polite.

As well as incomings, I'll be intrigued to see if we actually sell anyone. To succeed, we need to get better at it as you'd expect it would give JDT and Broughton a wider pool of players to look at (although I doubt they'd get to use any money brought in).
Same applies with the academy products. If we have genuine aspirations to be in the Premier League then not every player we're bringing through will have the ability to play at that level.
This is on the proviso that JDT can use the proceeds.

As well as O'Brien, I feel for both Brierley and Rochdale.
It sounds like we'll sign him regardless, but from what I understand, Rochdale had a few players lined up with the money they were going to get from us.
Although chances of survival were slim, you have to think this just added a nail to the coffin. I'd hope in good faith we maybe offer a bit extra in some way to apologise for the cockup and keep good faith with them.

If we manage to keep hold of him, he has to be completely backed with every available penny in the Summer.

My God, JDT has turned Rankin Costello into Cafu.

If we're talking about Adam Wharton then it was @J*B who said there had been an issue
I was more trying to make a point about how rumours can seemingly be cherry picked to suit a narrative. In someone's case anyway.

Ok thanks but still going to be 3rd choice at best if we don't sign O[Brien
Like I said to someone else, Someone will step up and score just like the last 2 games
Clearly something has gone on behind the scenes that we don't know about
Why do you think that? That's speculation and your opinion. We don't know what goes on behind closed doors at Ewood.

I'll give my review tomorrow. I am sure it will be good, Blackpool are there for the taking surely?
Looking forward to seeing a neutrals perspective.

I like Dolan but when you watch him enough though, you actually realise he's not very quick. There was a chance on Saturday to break near the end and yet the defender got back at him. He looks like he's fast, but actually isn't.
Agreed, it's a complete myth that he's quick.

None of this makes sense to me.
He signs it and we end up in Groundhog Day 2024, when he's free to speak to foreign clubs again who will happily wait 12 months.
If as someone on another thread alluded to, he might not want to make any big life decisions considering his recent arrival, then what good is a 12 month deal to Ben?

I'd sell Gallagher for whatever it costs to get a new pitch.

I'll give it to Pears, he's been decent tonight.

He mentioned Vale when speaking about Leonard. Vale offers more or something
At this point Vale needs to be offering a goal threat, but isn't.
He isn't the only guilty party. But if after 60 minutes tomorrow we haven't scored and/or are behind, I'd be giving Leonard a chance.

Quite a few Leonard fluff pieces knocking about this week - is he in line for a debut?
At this point, why not.
I know it's a big step up but no-one else is scoring and we've no-one else to turn to. IMO, let's see what he can do.

Generative Ai (ChatGPT)

If anyone pays for anything related to Google, i.e. Storage or something.
You'll be able to request early access to Google's generative AI - Bard (bard.google.com)
Personally much prefer it to ChatGPT, the ability to export direct to google sheets, code block amendments and the like are quite good but still being refined, Eventually will become the replacement for current google search.
