  1. Mowbray constantly cops the flack, but he’s been left with a wafer thin squad and very little in terms of options off the bench. Also I don’t think it’s the first time deals have been setup then changed last minute and they’ve fallen through. There’s no way Mowbray is happy with this squad any anger should be pointed at waggott and pasha for not getting deals over the line. Should Mowbray have gone in the summer arguably yes, he didn’t and they’ve left him with a wave thin squad and he is expected to work miracles

Be interesting to see where that leaves Bury AFC.

From memory there was a lot of animosity between those that decamped to the Phoenix club and those that have tried to revive BFC

Hopefully in ruins after some of things people running that club have done to undermine two other viable takeovers, interesting one of the main people involved in setting AFC up has left and joined the rescue board to save Bury FC.  Whats funny is you see the supposed Bury FC fans now saying its afc or nothing walking away from the club they allegedly supported !

  3. Abysmal end to the window no doubt Mowbray and Waggott will trot out how hard they tried, get a few sly digs in at fans remind us its not 1995, oh and the masses on facebook are lapping it up, i've seen great window, mcbride can fill armstrongs role. That lot are just as bad as the idiots in charge they accept any garbage the club trots out

We sell Armstrong what, 3 weeks ago? Fart about waiting for Obafemi for a week to hear nothing.

Swansea see an opportunity, sell one player, get another in, all within 24 hours. We might if beat them on the opening day but I’d give up three points to be run half as well as them right now.

Swansea are not a well run club scratch beneath the surface of the shambles they are

Very good question asked and one we will never know. Are Venkys looking to sell the club or waiting for replacement to be ready to take over

Maybe he would have been a target for us if we had sold Armstrong already

I would say this is very different situation to the Bowyer one in 2015 as Bowyer was allow to sign players after selling Gestede. But it appears Mowbray can't even sign a free transfer in Reach or PL loan player at the minute. Seems nothing will happen until Armstrong is sold.

I think Mowbray sanctioning Ayala has put paid to any ability he has to dictate ex boro boy transfers

Administration is being discussed by a lot of people who work at Ewood for the first time. Several that have young families have left for other clubs already and are not taking chances.

admin makes no sense when they haven't tried to flog the club, that said i know of a number of staff who have left really unhappy

  7. I think the forum needs shaking up a little bit and the club should be challenged more, it should be a chance to be a critical friend of the club and attempt to hold them to account. From the meeting minutes every time its just waggott saying he will look into it and thats about it. It needs a new attendee list and people not afraid to continually challenge the club

I think Jack coming along and doing what he did was more like winning the lottery.

Where we are right now is like a lottery winner who has pissed away all their fortune, their house is in ruins and they’re back on the dole.

You basically saying we are the footballing version of Michael Carroll!

Probably, and I think we're well past the stage now where that was needed. We needed that half way through the season just gone. I'd like to see some loanee's come because that relationship with Liverpool and Manchester City IS beneficial to us in the long run. We should keep that going because it will be handy over the years.

in nutshell that's the problem change was needed it as usual Venkys do not make it, our second potential play off squad has been squandered by a manager out of his depth. We are now faced with scratching whatever loans we can get off PL clubs. We could sort contract extensions out for Mowbrays boys last summer and waste that money, yet key players like Armstrong got left he should have been extended two years ago. Instead the club hierarchy were again asleep at the wheel focusing on flogging brockhall for a few quid

Waggott and Mowbray rightfully coming in for a lot of stick here, but let’s not forget we also have a finance director!

Cheston would be the one responsible for submitting the accounts. He’s got previous for steering us into an embargo and seems completely incapable of doing anything to prevent us bleeding money at the alarming and consistent rate we have done for the past decade. And that’s before we get on to the whole Coyle being the outstanding candidate debacle.

its almost like those in power got distracted with other failed ventures last season, and neglected some pretty fundamental stuff

Boycotts are never going to happen. Some folk wouldn’t even turn their back on a match for 10 seconds if it were seen as some kind of organised protest. “You won’t tell me what to do” and “you’re not a real fan”. We will have fans queuing up for the new Rovers shirt. We can’t even boycott that.

And while that is the case, there will be no pressure placed on Mowbray or Waggott from the terraces. Certainly not in any pre-emptive way.

The ONLY thing that will create a pseudo-united fan-base against Mowbray will be a sustained run of defeats with us rooted in the bottom three, and organic chants from the dwindling numbers at the games.

Sadly, if Mowbray simply wants a pay off he is going nowhere until the end of next season at the earliest. No amount of booing or chanting or STs thrown on the pitch with have any affect without a compensation deal.

Utterly stuck with people who only have their own best interests at heart.

Go, don’t go, it doesn’t matter. While Tombola Tony continues to pick an XI to “do a job” all of the support in the world makes no difference, and any boycott would just be spun as a lack of commitment from fans.

They hold all of the cards. I imagine they must laugh about it, and at us, behind closed doors. Imagine being so incompetent with no clue how to fix things, and being given an annual green light to carry on anyway.

I’m fully expecting that Waggott’s mission right now will be tying Mowbray down to a new contract as a priority. The fact there has been no talk about this being his last season speaks volumes.

I think mowbray will walk he was rattled last season with no fans if this season is a shambles which is looking likely he will walk, then no doubt it will hsh recommendation and in walks pulis and the cycle continues. Not so sure SW and TM are as close as people think heard various different accounts of a falling out
