  1. I think Portugal only have 1 so Porto. Italy have 2 these days so Juve and Napoli. Then CSKA Moscow, Ajax, Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen are the others, with Shaktar maybe being one as well.
  2. Correct. Larsson. Roy Keane, Kanchelskis, Van Bronkhorst, Sutton, Hendry and Dion Dublin have won Scottish and English Premier League titles.
  3. Pique yes, Albert Ferrer no but good effort. The Chelsea and Barca player was a right back, fairly recently. Geremi is correct. When me and my mate were asked this about a year ago, we didn't get him, and we needed a few clues for Gudjohnsen. I've asked at least 10 people since and only one person got Geremi. Maybe there isn't another one. I think there used to be 10 until Ronaldo won La Liga last year. Owen never won anything at Madrid and Anelka never won La Liga, can't think of anyone else.
  4. All correct. Not many get Gudjohnsen or Makelele. So those four, Beckham, Ronaldo, Henry and Larsson is 8. Who else is there? A defender who played for Utd and Barca. A defender who played for Chelsea and Barca. A midfielder who played for Chelsea and Real Madrid. I think there's one more, can't remember who atm.
  5. Both correct. If you meant Van Bronchorst for one of the people to win the English and Scottish leagues. But it was another left back who was at Arsenal and Barcelona.
  6. Arsenal won the league after Hartson left. One played for Utd and Rangers, one for Utd and Celtic (really hard to get)and one for Arsenal and Rangers. Van Nistelrooy never won La Liga There's a load of Barcelona players, a lot who played for Chelsea. Two who played for Chelsea and Madrid (one is really hard). Another Arsenal and Barcelona one. Another Utd and Barca one. Can't think who else, that might be it.
  7. There's either 16 or 17 teams who are already in the group stages of next season's Champions League. How many can people name? There are about a dozen players who have won the Premier League (so since 1992), La Liga and the Champions League. And there are 7 players who have won the English and Scottish leagues since 1992. No cheating.
  8. What like Williamson was? Among numerous other examples. I remember Dobbie being good at Swansea, haven't followed his career since.
  9. Did Rhodes and Goodwillie link-up well today? Or was Rhodes mainly isolated?
  10. Yea tbh that's what I meant, two years. I was happy we won last night. I'm happy we're probably not going down. I will also be relieved if we do stay up. I get what you're saying but it's much of a muchness for me. But say Leeds for example.....they finally got promoted from League 1......do you think they would be like "we were in the Champions League semi-final a few years ago and now you're happy we're being promoted from League 1???"....maybe some of them did, and maybe they have a point. But what then? From now on, because we're such a joke, we're not really allowed to be pleased with anything, as we still have too many issues. We're not pretending everything is fine, just putting all the b*llocks to one side for a second. I get all the negativity don't get me wrong, I've been behind the protests from day 1 etc.....but when people moan about every single thing.......Shaw makes stupid comments about Berg not being first choice, fine....then on another occasion (can't remember which), he says what everyone would say in that situation, and people moan that he doesn't mean it? Everyone slags off our players. We get Jones in who people rate and it's, "well it shows how far we've fallen that a Wigan reject is one of our best players"......there was even at least one negative comment after beating Arsenal ffs.
  11. Why is everyone +1-ing that. FFS, there's like a stigma on here with ever being positive. We're completely awful, have been for years now, very good chance of going down again, we win 1 game that puts us on the verge of safety, we're rightfully happy with that, and it's "oh how are you lot celebrating, don't you know what's happened". Of course we do, but are we not allowed one night of happiness, or does everything have to be so doom and gloom for the next 10 years, no enjoyment allowed out of supporting us whatsoever. Get a f-ing grip.
  12. Blackburn Rovers ‏@OneRovers20s The announcer at the Den said a David Jones goal but we think it came off Rob Hulse. Expand Reply Retweet Favorite More Blackburn Rovers ‏@OneRovers2m Not sure who it came off but they all count. 1-1 Expand Blackburn Rovers ‏@OneRovers2m 56 Jones with a corner from the right, it comes off a Millwall man and goes in at the near post. 1-1
  13. Bristol City away was one. Just checked and Barnsley at home was the only other one.
  14. If the season started when Holloway was appointed Palace manager they'd be 10th. Not counting the game against us as he didn't do anything then. I don't rate him (would still love him here) so this is certainly winnable. Stopping Zaha and Bolassie would be a start. They're currently two points ahead of 7th place but with a game in hand. With an away game against Millwall and a home tie against a P'boro side who've lost 1 in their last 10 to come, they'll certainly be looking for all three points. They haven't won in 7 games, have lost more away matches than us this season, and only Ipswich and Bristol City have scored less on the road. -----------Sandomierski --Kane---Dann---Hanley---? Kazim---Williamson---Jones---? --------Rhodes---Goodwillie I don't know who to play left back. Is Martin Olsson back? I'd like to see him on the left wing but we'd need his pace against Bolassie and Zaha as they switch. They would probably have the beating of Givet due to his lack of pace. Maybe not actually, but he didn't look right against Watford. If Martin O is available I'd probably play him with Pedersen in front of him. Peds is good at covering when the LB gets forward. I doubt we'd see Nunes who I think could offer us something.
  15. Aye, I loved Spartacus after seeing it recommended on here. Cba to wait a week for each Game of Thrones episode so I'm just gonna wait a few months and watch them when I want to. I don't like dealing with cliffhangers. Final season of Breaking Bad to begin airing on August 11th. There's also talk of a spinoff involving Saul Goodman. Arrested Development (imo, the 3rd greatest tv show of all time) starts again on May 26.
  16. Graeme le Saux ‏@graemelesaux1449m @OneRovers Phew. Great result. 2 wins in a row and sounds like the fans and players are in it together
  17. Love it, massive win. Bring on Watford who haven't won in 3 and have picked up more points on the road. Long way to go but nice that we have a bit of breathing space.
