The yellow weather warning for today is both wind & rain but tomorrow its just for wind.

Hasta is correct. Against Ipswich a 4pm yellow weather warning for heavy rain was given for "Ewood" & "Waterfall" areas of Blackburn. It came down heavy exactly as they predicted & that's what caused the pitch to be unplayable.

Even so our quality is rank. They need a rocket but manager too soft Related team already imo.

What ever the reason is there needs to be a grown up conversation to get this rediculous disagreement sorted.

There was a yellow weather warning which named Ewood area and Waterfall area in Blackburn. Didn't see mention of other local towns close to grounds. Throughout the day it rained with the heaviest after 4pm. Anyway its done now, decision has been made. No point appealing as the "appeal" situation is there to appease the EFL (so called) process. Blackburn Rovers 0 EFL 1 Gutted about this but I'll get over it.

Didn't expect anything other than this as it covers the EFL. Taken them almost 5 days to make a decision. As fans we have to get on with it at our expense while the football so called body rule that despite being 1 0 up playng against 10 men with 10 minutes left, you must play the full game again to see if Ispwich can win which will help them get back to the premiership.

Its still a guessing game. Decision is taking more time than expected but surely the EFL know by now. Maybe they have put steelcityblue's option to Ipswich with a deadline date for getting back to get back.

Must be complicated if it involves appeal system thats taken over two days to compile.

Good. Then we can get back to football because what we saw yesterday was in parts very encouraging.

The reaction of the Ipswich players coming on before any announcement was a disgrace to the game. If they'd have come on after the announcement i.e. to thank their fans for support I can understand that. But to come on before indicated "we were 1 0 down with ten men but we've managed to void the game". Unprofessional, unsporting and a disgrace to football.

Not directly related but odd. At half time Ipswich subs warmed up in wrong half of pitch and our groundsman was visably unhappy. Saw him pointing from here to there. This was in the exact same spot the ref & his assist did their ball testing. Was this deliberate to a soggy pitch area?? Anyone else see this?

Their manager points out Ipswich were still in full voice at the end. Not because they'd won but because having been 1 0 down and reduced to ten men, defeat was turned into a moral victory. Over to you EFL.

The longer the game went on the more unplayable the pitch became. How long did it take to fix the refs arm connection? Ha just seeing ref in Manure game having same problem.

On way home but why were Ipswich allowed to celebrate in front of own fans with no announcement. Bloody disgusting.

Pitch looks ok. Water still flowing out into river, about six inch before drainage pipe touches River.

Hope he's on the bench. Imagine the reception we'd give him when he first did a warm up run down the line!

Not an app lover. World beginning to think everyone uses them and that day will come. Having said that I was forced into a corner in getting a Google Wallet so the ST was relatively straight forward. Only thing is it sends 2 oe 3 messages each week which I assume from reading on here is a changed bar code.

He only came on 70th min so his instructions/concentration was to see the game out. Keep your hands behind your back was a must but he missed that one.
