I don’t blame him for that, he won’t be the first and he won’t be the last. It’s up to the officials to spot it, and to be honest, it’s for us to defend it better.

Sorry Tyrone I do. It was a deliberate act that was part of a number of reasons why we didn't make play offs. Would imagine the Blackburn End will let Wilson know when we play Coventry.

Sticking my neck out here, perhaps naively, but I’m just so beyond fed up:

It is time. We need to wake up. We need a supporter uprising.

The past 13 yrs have been a mess, obviously, but this year represents the mother of all missed opportunities for the club (and the owners).

The owners (and the club’s CEO) have no plan but to tread water forever, and do not care to invest the little extra needed for a serious promotion push (although they’re ok wasting 10-20 m a yr).

There is no rationality, there is no communication from the owners (and hasn’t been for years…), the communication from the club to the outside world is in part dishonest and in part self-contradictory. The list of bad stuff goes on and on…

The level of the performances on the pitch are starting to dip. The squad is getting thinner each transfer window. And our excellent coach (the one without wheels) will likely leave by the end of the season. The club will not be able to recruit a new manager with anything close to the same quality.

SO - can we please apply some pressure to the Venky gang?

How? a letter? Protests in the stands? Empty stadium? Other suggestions?

Does one start with Pasha? Or Waggott?

Do we know any potential buyers of the club?

Or have we all accepted Rovers’ faith and decided there’s nothing the fans can do about it; we are doomed to watch mediocre (at best) second level (at best) football under faceless chicken farmers/gangsters for the rest of our lives?

Venkys gave zero interest in Rovers, they've been to ewood only once. Swag enjoys his pay and position but he couldn't give a #### about club or fans as evidenced for example with the pathetic mismanagement of the 5,000 game presentation and closing Blackburn End for next Wednesdays game.

  3. Many fans including me want to see Rovers in top 6 but when JDT keeps repeating he needs to develop these young players over the year sounds like he's not looking at the league but simple coaching players. Ok there is a link, better players will win more games.

But a few players including Pears & Dolan have been poor for weeks yet he still plays them. If this is part of their development we are not going anywhere near the top 6 over the year

Ipswich, like Plymouth, are riding the wave of promotion momentum - we did the same thing early in our first season back.

It will level out over the season, as it almost always does.

I think, performance wise, we’ve been amongst the best in the division so far - and the stats support that, but results haven’t gone our way.

We’re due to spank somebody, so no better time than today.

    Ipswich 0 - 4 Rovers.

    Nice thought Andy.

Both away at Plymouth and home to Sunderland we lacked strikers so we aren't scoring. We've conceded too many goals so is now the right time to replace Pears?

We have some decent players with Wharton & Moran a class above the rest imo but squad is same today with the disadvantage of an away journey by coach.

    Ipswich 0 - 0 Rovers

  5. What a tired lot we became. No problem with the "game changing" penalty but we were far too tired and TM's game plan won the day. Rovers can't walk the ball into the net with no strikers. Ok we had a few tame shots but after our senior players had missed the target the kids could do nothing.

Hate to say this but this is the worst performance by JDT and one that will live in many of us for a long time. Poor decision to by ref awarding kicks wrong way. Wharton was outstandingly terrible. Tony Mowbray will beat Rovers every week. We've a very weak squad and tonight proved it.
