  1. I’d love Everton or Burnley away, I think we’d beat them, they are both so poor at the moment. Everton is a good day out and Burnley is Burnley.

I’d take Kidderminster away for somewhere new to me, Liverpool away as it’s always a great day out or St Albans/Boreham Wood away.

A big club at home would be alright, but I’d prefer to play any of them away.

BBD is becoming a phenomenal player he is like a man possessed at times! Runs his heart out, ball control has improved, positional sense has improved whilst his instinctive finishing is to be admired. I was wondering what his current conversion rate is compared to AA's this time last season ?

    According to Infogol:

AA had 189 shots which converted to 28 goals in the league. Interestingly his xG was only 27.74, which indicates an average of 0.14xG per shot.

BBD has so far had 54 shots, which has converted to 16 goals in the league. His xG is 12.49, or 0.23xG per shot.

To me this shows that he is getting shots off from much better positions than AA did, and then scoring them.

I think that much is obvious, he doesn’t take pot shots 4 or 5 times a game like AA did.

At his current trajectory, BBD could hit 38.73 goals this season, which would blow AA out of the water.

Like this is just mad now. It's crazy. Enjoy the money who ever bet on the 20 goals and didn't cash out. Your bravery deserves it, at this rate you'll have the money for Christmas

I took the half and I am kicking myself, but I am also buzzing for him & everyone who’s stuck it out.

It gets said a lot, but this story is incredible. It’s like he’s manifested Leicester 2015-16.

Indeed and Carthorse was worse when he came on. He's in the Magloire category. The 2 of them way out of their depth. Ayala is 10 times better that both combined. Lenihan was shite last night too. All wrong from the start

In Mowbrays post match interview the crazy bastard said we started well and were in the game up to the sending off. Obviously no one questioned this. Downing was a bit critical. Look if we were near releagtion and this happened he still wouldn't be fired, let alone if we are close to the play offs

I think he’s talking bollocks too, but had that handball from Johnson’s header been given, at 2-0, with BBD in the form of his life that’s almost a given at 2-1. Could’ve changed the game. We were by no means ‘still in the game’ at that point though, it would’ve got us back in it.

I am totally baffled that there’s still people absolving him of any blame & not agreeing that he needs to go. A very long season to come…

Let's see how many of the 24 Championship clubs actually do away with a programme.

Anyone who has purchased a programme at away grounds will know that it is feasible to produce a decent standard product and sell it at £3.

Here however we have a can't do attitude.

Can't have a club shop in the town, can't put season tickets on sale, can't get new kits on sale, can't can't can't.

Rapidly wondering why they even bother opening the doors. Would be easier and cheaper to not bother.

If your penultimate sentence was read out loud by a Londoner, the ending would sound like they’re describing the Coventrio.

The players Spurs signed with the Bale money that summer were absolute dog though... The only one that was decent was Eriksen... Potentially Lamela but he was hot and cold.

Oh yeah, no doubting that! But I bet their fans were absolutely made up with the fact that they brought those players in and used the money wisely.

If it allows us to tie down Brereton, lenihan, nyambe and maybe Rothwell, I'll settle for it. For me the biggest issue over recent years and why we're in this mess is a lack of player trading. Raya aside, we've not any significant transfer fees coming in, and when you lose money like we do, that's the one thing to keep you  running. Buy cheap, sell high, repeat.

Mowbray told the LT that he expects none of the Arma money to come back to the squad.

I suppose the wider issue is we’ve spent the Arma money before selling him, and for the most part wasted it.

  8. Is anyone else a bit gutted that we’re about to make our record sale and not a penny of it will go back into the squad?

When you see what Spurs did (Bale), Norwich (Maddison) and now Villa (Grealish) are doing whilst making silly money sales, and compare it to what we will do, it does just compound all of the misery of the past 11 years.

If that stopped deaths would that be a bad thing

You can’t stop death, it is a natural part of life, and as the world evolves, causes of death are changing.

In no way am I saying that drink driving is acceptable, it’s abhorrent, especially when alcohol free lager and gin exist and taste the same, however your point just leads to more open ended options.

We can stop deaths from many different things by locking ourselves away for eternity, but what’s the point? I’d rather a shorter life lived, than live until the age of 100 and be bored senseless for the next 75 years. I’m not sure too many would argue against that.

Many scientists & politicians have God complexes, which has resulted in them all wanting to be the ones who change the course of humanity for longer lives, but they completely disregard all other factors involved in living a life, and focus purely on your body having oxygen and blood coursing through your veins.

Sorry for the rant, and not a dig at you, just been building up a while clearly!

And your language and Abrasive attitude says a lot about you. People of all age ranges have financial problems in general and have been badly affected by the pandemic. Try telling someone who's lost a loved one or a parent that the younger generation, who in general don't get as seriously ill from the virus, have been the worst affected.

I only meant that if you were entitled to a £179 ticket originally and are STILL entitled to a disounted ticket on account of age it's unreasonable to expect another massive discount on an already heavily discounted price.

A friend of mines son has actually just turned 24 and therefore has gone from being asked to pay £179 to £399 with no discount. So after showing loyalty by renewing last year, there's no incentive whatsoever for him to renew again.

He will I'm sure still renew anyway as he has a job and is keen as mustard but that isn't really the point

My language points to how angry your post made me, nothing more.

It is not unreasonable to expect equal treatment to everyone else, at all.

You don’t think the younger generation are disproportionately affected, because they haven’t died?

Young people are the ones that are going to have to pick up the bill for this, despite many of their industries being destroyed, for a virus that does not damage them in general. In fact, it doesn’t do much damage to anyone healthy.

I'm absolutely the last one to defend Waggott normally but pull the other one, you were paying a vastly discounted rate  in the first place so you can't expect another substantial discount as well on top of that as well. You'd be getting the ticket for next to nothing.

    In short, get fucked.

’vastly discounted rate’, so it fucking should be, young adults are more often than not the ones in the worst financial position. Young families, poorer wages, high outgoings etc.

Think this says a lot about you that you seem to have a grievance for this age category getting a discounted ticket price.

They would get the same % discount as everyone else (if they had a ST last year), so they wouldn’t be getting it at a cheaper rate.

Anyone aged 23 the day of the Derby game back in 2020, is looking at a £220 price increase, straight off the back of a worldwide pandemic that has disproportionately effected their age group, now that Waggott has reduced the YA age category by 2 years.

    Have some fucking perspective.

The bit in bold is key. We have a fanbase that will not share a single goal - or even know what that is. There is too much “nobody tells me what to do” and not enough caring about the club.

It could be argued that Blackpool were in a worse state than we are - Venkys are still paying the bills after all - but the outcome has broadly been the same relegation from the PL before settling in the Championship.

As unbelievable as it seems our fall from grace is still ahead of us. When the time comes, will our fans care? Our time came and went and not enough people did. A show of 90% of the fanbase against Kean would have at least sent a message of “don’t mess with us”, instead our message was “yeah, crack on”.

I can vividly remember the vast majority of the stadium (probably 75%) standing up to “stand up, if you want Venky’s Out”, live on Sky, at home to Wigan just after Alcaraz scored.

It did nothing to the chicken chokers’ opinion & there’s never been a show of unity like it since.

As many have mentioned, they’ll never be effected by any form of protest because they simply don’t give a shit. I have no idea what the solution is, but NAPM even with that level of unity probably wouldn’t make a difference, which is highly painful.
