Your argument in itself is baffling.

Why oh why is our multi million pound striker not starting on a regular basis?  If he's no better than 30 odd year old Graham or whoever else we have, why the feck commit a small fortune on the lad when we so obviously need strengthening in other areas!?

My ''argument' is solely based on footballing abilities.

His time on the pitch at Rovers is not enough to judge him on.

You'd have to ask the guy who picks the team the second part of your post.

You don't take up an option for the fourth year as soon as you sign the contract. Otherwise you would just sign a four year contract not three. I think you're mistaken.

If there is an option for a fourth year in the club's favour, I'd be pleasantly surprised, but it definitely won't have activated yet and I haven't seen it reported.

23-year-old joins from Gillingham on a three-year deal, with the option of a fourth, for £750,000 plus add-ons

Well you guys on here have seen far more of Armstrong than me, but from what I have seen I wasn’t impressed at all really. Not sure what function he serves in the team and seemed to disappear for long periods. Hopefully you’ll tell me that I’ve got that wrong.

I saw a lot Den...he has bags of pace and a good finisher.

Down to Mowbray to get the most from those attributes.

    I like him.

Pretty much spot on. Considering how shallow our squad is I think injuries will end up having a huge say in where we finish. I also can't help but think that if Graham struggles for form or fitness we are going to be in trouble. Mowbray must surely be concerned by our lack of forward options?

Agree totally after watching the alternatives play last Saturday.

Remember folks we will be playing in Premier League 2 this season. Not third tier.

Have people forgotten Boxing Day 2017 vs Rochdale?

Queues for match day tickets around the entire area in front of the Blackburn End, and some affected home fans only getting in to Ewood Park 25 minutes after the game kicked off?  I know people who walked out of that queue and straight into the Fox + Hounds.  Others doubtless just went home.  All for a crowd (including visitors) of 15,115.

Between that game and Oxford at Ewood in May, they introduced the "last minute" surcharge.  For Oxford - 26,310 HOME fans on, everyone who wanted to be in for kick off was in, and there was no queue whatsoever for last minute walk-up tickets.

Missing 25% of the game of football is more costly than a (roughly) 10% price hike on the day - and is also far more annoying for all concerned.  And who in this day and age only decides on Saturday afternoon what they're actually going to be doing later on Saturday afternoon?  I suspect that 95% or more of potential last minute walk-up fans already know they can get cheaper tickets before 12.30pm, and make sure that they do.  Anyone who doesn't probably won't even realise or don't care that the price has gone up when they buy.

The contrast between Rochdale (H) and Oxford (H) proves that this policy works, it's just not the done thing on BRFCS to give any credit to anything that the club does.

Think you have to factor in the Boxing Day game was round Christmas. (As it would be).

I'd be very surprised if the main factor in applying the surcharge was to eliminate a queue at the ticket office.

Just spotted a post on Facebook from Rovers Trust, Rovers Trust - The Official Supporters Trust of Blackburn Rovers FC

The traditional coffin raising ceremony which follows a Blackburn Rovers promotion season is due to take place on July 22nd in Bamber Bridge, subject to Police approval.

The organising committee are looking for volunteer marshals to help with the events on the day, and The Trust are appealing for people to help. Please contact us via oliver.jones@roverstrust.co.uk if you can help, or just DM this account.

Subject to Police approval. It needs volunteers urgently to act as marshalls or police could deny the road closure orders.

  7. The AGM went very well. About 20 people showed up which considering all the aspects was excellent.

RH Tim Farron MP was awarded an honorary Trust membership, and was due to attend, however a late change of plan scuppered this ( prob Brexit or summat).

Notes of meeting can be found below.

I have no idea why this hasn't got going. They could even play the music for everyone to join in every time he scores at Ewood instead of the White Stripes.

Simple is the key. They play September before home games now to try and get Smallwood song going.
