It been problem all season tbh. Here are some examples for you
Under JDT we had over 50% possession in games and lost like QPR at home, WBA away, Hull away, Huddersfield away, Watford at home, Sheffield away, PNE at home
draw like Huddersfield at home, Rotherham at home,
won at Stoke away with less 50%, Norwich away.
won at home to Bristol City, Birmingham at home with more than 50%
Difference being JDT had spells where he won a few.

I stand by my point and ain't arguing with you cos its pointless.
and the it was 54 minutes by the way. Majority of the game. After we scored the atmosphere was quiet for rest of the 1st half.
That second half was a party atmosphere for their fans. They roared their team to a massive victory. Best fans at Ewood all season, including Leeds and the Geordies.
If Waggot doesn't open the whole tier for Coventry (which I'm not sure he will now) it will be a massive admission he fucked up by giving Wednesday the whole Darwen End.
Still, he serves nice coffee and scones I've heard.

Also another point to say we had 60% of possession yesterday and lose. In the 4 other games under Eustace when we had more than 50% of possession we have lost 2 and draw 2.
Bristol City away and Ipswich at home were the 2 we lost
Millwall at home and Cardiff away were the draws
So you are saying in the 5 games we have dominated the ball, we have gained only 2 points and have a -8 goal difference.
More damning stats against the
manager'head coach '.- 2

So for most of their game then like a said?
I wasn't actually arguing with you, but as you seem to be spoiling for a fight then no, they werent quiet for "most of the game."
Look at the times of the goals, look at the amount of time played and do the maths.

and they weren't that loud for most of the game only when winning.
They did go very quite when we equalised until they went infront again. However early on and throughout that second half it was exceptional support. Loudest following at Ewood for some time I thought.

Imagine being relegated because someone couldn't click "send".

If Birmingham win at Huddersfield I think we are certainly down.
Birmingham will beat Norwich at home last day. Norwich will already be in the play offs and will make tons of changes like Huddersfield did last time we went down.
With Wednesday having gone WDDW, I easily see them getting 4 points from here.
I'm not even that confident another point saves us anymore from here unless QPR lose both.

Hopefully the game today knocks the stuffing and any belief out of them!
Yeah I’m sure they'll be coming off Wembley no longer believing they can win at Ewood.

13th place after 5 games will seem like dizzy heights at the end of the season. The caveat being unless Leo is a super keeper and Semir is a super striker.
They weren’t.

Brum & Sheff Wed won't both get 4 points in there last two games.
Also don't think Plymouth will get another point.
Always said no chance we go down this season and still believe that.
Next season we're fucked.
Hate to break it to you but they don’t need 4 points if we don’t win another game. Birmingham just need to beat Huddersfield to pass us, and Wednesday need 1 win from either of their 2 remaining matches.
Plymouth have a better goal difference so just need one draw from two OK fixtures.
We could even be in the bottom 3 by 5pm next Saturday.
I genuinely believe we need 50 points.

Just watched the 3 Forest penalties. The two fouls definitely are, and possibly the hand ball is as well.
The problem is referees are too shit scared to give penalties now incase it’s over-ruled, so they just leave it to VAR. And in this case VAR is hiding behind the ‘not clear and obvious’ rule despite them being fairly clear.I’d love to take a forward make those challenges on a defender leading to a goal and the ref/VAR play on.
-
Coventry haven’t looked back since he left.

Reminder that when VAR was introduced, the developers said offsides dictated by the lines are only accurate to within 15cm
So it killed the moment and there is no guarantee it was right.

I don't think he did much wrong today - he set us up well (3 CBs to deal with their physicality) and we nullified them. You can't really account for your GK gifting them 2 goals.
Even taking the mistakes out, they worked far harder than us and had more of a gameplan. We just piss about with it in the hope Sammy makes a good run and we can release him. That’s it. That’s our plan.

Outthought and outfought.
Most of them are spineless, but special mentions to Brittain, Hyam and Gallagher.

Quite a few people have suggested that they would be happy with a point. We are playing the second worst team in the league at home with a win sealing survival, if we cant be expecting a win here then when can we.
Team wise, we are limited because beyond that 11 last week, we are so weak due to budget cuts. If Wharton is struggling/unfit then I would bring in an attacking player though, whether thats Buckley and pushing JRC on, Ayari, Markanday or Moran. Not exciting options but at least its an extra attacking player rather than sticking in someone like McFadzean or Chrisene who themselves are a downgrade.
I wouldn’t be happy with a point and certainly would be going out to win it. It’s a game we really should be winning.
However there is a big difference to the position we will find ourselves if we draw compared to if we lose. If there is 10 minutes left and it is 1-1, I wouldn’t be throwing the kitchen sink at it.- 2

Jackson is awful. Can't finish
You can’t build a three man wall, split as the ball is kicked so that it is 4-man wide and put your arm out to fill the void you’ve made.
-
I’d be annoyed if I was Chelsea about not getting the handball penalty, but more annoyed that they have to persevere with Jackson up top.

The bottom of the PL is objectively terrible. About 6 clubs deserve to go down.
Without points deductions there are clearly 3 that should be going down.

And if they don't beat Hull, they will have nothing to play for
Which is massively important because it may be the difference between them bringing a small following, or this forum going into meltdown.

The Norwich & West Brom results today means if Coventry beat Hull at home in midweek they’ll still have a significant interest in the top6 when they come to Ewood.

Yeah I think we're safe now. We would need to lose all 3 games and an almost perfect set of results from those below us now. Still would like to see us finish off the job tomorrow infront of our fans
Not really.
If we lose tomorrow Birmingham and Wednesday would both only need 1 win from their 2 games to overtake us.
A point on the other hand and I agree with you.

Gestede only really being the outlier. What a signing that was by Bowyer. One of a few brilliant signings by him.
Great find by Bowyer. He still cost £200k and would have been on decent wages to get him away from Cardiff who had him in the Premier League on presumably a decent salary.
I'd be surprised if that kind of overall outlay is available to us this summer.
McGuire is 3 from 6 for Orlando since the January debacle. I've no idea whether he would cut it in the Championship, but I'd be gobsmacked if that got revisited.

Put these clubs in order of which you’d currently prefer to win the PL. (These are in my order)
Arsenal
Chelsea
Newcastle
Liverpool
Man U
City
Spuds

They don't need to. They only need to beat 1 of them - either a Huddersfield who were shambolic at the weekend or a resting Norwich reserves. You seriously can't see them possibly winning 1 of those 2 games?
