Nah, I charge him full price. And he has to supply the chicken parmos every Fri night.
He can stay as long as he wants on those rates.
C'mon Luton!!

Martin Keown accusing others of bias.
That has to be a piss take.
He is one who I really do avoid listening to whenever possible.
Just bizarre that he's picked this moment to sound off.
There is bias in commentators, we've all seen it with Neville/Carragher/Micah etc. I don't mind it personally, like to see a bit of passion for the game.
But Tyler yesterday has gone viral for barely reacting to the goals going in, and Keown has decided this is the time to make an accusation. Truly odd.

I'm delighted this squad is splitting up - lots of average (at best) Championship players with zero killer instinct.
The fact they seem to enjoy each other's company is irrelevant to me, I want to see my team entertain me and win football matches.
Tell me that come Xmas if we're fighting relegation with a team that don't get on and support each other.
Tin hat on, but maybe we'd never have got near the Top 6 these last two seasons without the comradery. What if 10th-16th was our level, and the extra team spirit lifted our position. Take that away and where we heading?
Players that get on tend to perform better surely. Don't the sports scientists subscribe to that view. (Everyone then quotes Cole and Yorke hating each other, but that's an interesting story because it's not the norm.)
Maybe I'm grasping at straws but the feel good atmosphere amongst the squad has seemed like a real positive recently. That's all I meant. Would be sad to lose it.
P.S. Can't argue with your average players lacking instinct comment. We definitely need fresh blood and a winners mentality incorporated.

When Arsenal conceded the 2nd goal, he barely even reacted, then when he eventually did, he sounded gutted.
And yet Keown today thinks Tyler is bias against Arsenal.
How does that work? Certainly didn't sound like a man celebrating when they conceded.

Ah, good stuff then, nice to see.
I've jumped the gun on half a statement.
Such a shame this squad is kind of breaking up. Does seem there's been a good atmosphere in the team.
Pity the recruitment at the top has hampered that spirit amounting to anything tangible.
It can often take you places.

Would have been nice to acknowledge the fans.
I hadn't really looked at it that way, but now you point it out......he does mention everything Rovers except the fans.
Hopefully just an oversight.
If he really does have any issue with the fans here, wait till he has a bad spell in Spain.

Good luck to Ben, I wish him well and will keep an eye out for results and matches he's playing in.
Not convinced he'll cut it in La Liga. Have that feeling he'll be another in a long line to leave the club with high expectations of a stellar career, only for it to nosedive and peter out.
Not hoping for that though, no bitterness, would like to see him smash it over there. Maybe he'll prove me wrong.

The thing that will hurt the most is if Waggot and co think they can go into another season coasting it. Much worse than Burnley easily going straight back up, being well beaten at home to Preston or Mowbray having success at Sunderland.
That's the sensible, big picture, forward planning view.
I can't bring myself to look to next season yet, until this one is fully wrapped up.
It's not just the Mowbray factor, if Coventry somehow do it it's going to break my heart. What an opportunity wasted.
But if Boro cruise to the trophy, it won't feel like we've missed out on much. Other than a potential first trip to Wembley.
-
How badly this near miss hurts will depend on how the playoffs go.
If Luton and Boro sail thro to the final, as expected, then it's quite easy to take.
But if other things start happening, it's going to be a bitter pill to swallow.
I'm very uneasy that the pain and suffering hasn't finished yet, despite the final whistle being blown on our season.

Allardici!
The best exotic manager there never was.

Ffs lads, this ref is not gonna give any marginal free kicks, so stop flopping to the floor like dying seals.
They been getting training off Morton?!

Had hoped Luton would rest a few players today. No real surprises with our line up.
What a surprise we get the 'keep the momentum going' manager.
Weird, all our rivals (promotion + relegation) over the years, got the 'rest the whole team and keep them fresh' manager.

So now all rivals have played:
Have to beat Millwall no matter what mathematically, otherwise we can’t surpass both themselves and Coventry (regardless of Luton result)
So 3 scenarios from the Luton result:
Win: It’s fully in our hands, not reliant on any other results. Beat Millwall and in.
Draw: Still in it, need to beat Millwall, but now reliant on Sunderland not beating PNE and WBA not beating Swansea too.
Lose: Season over, nothing to play for against Millwall (unless we beat Millwall by 6 goals, Sunderland don’t beat PNE and WBA don’t beat Swansea)
Scandalous if we don't even take it to last day again having been is such good positions two seasons on trot.
I try and stay positive thinking how we could barely break into the top 6 for about 8 years.
2 years in and amongst it should feel like a giant step in the right direction.
But somehow I feel as hallow and defeated as ever.

The two relegations were ridiculously painful, but this has been the most gut wrenching week since that lot rocked up over a decade ago. All that hope evaporated in the space of a week. And in those circumstances. To top It off that lot winning the league at Ewood.
I genuinely feel sick, and am so tired of it all.
About 3 of your posts tonight have perfectly summed up how I feel, word for word.
On fire.
Any chance you can start communicating with my wife for me?

Two very similar tackles, one a yellow card, one not. Standard. 🙄

I'm not convinced Brereton isn't trying, think we were maybe right, and he's just a bit crap.
Guess we'll find out in about a year after a full season in La Liga.
I'm getting vibes of 'fox in the box' Franny Jeffers.
One purple patch then constant decline.
