A goalkeeper is considered to be in control of the ball when:
• the ball is between the hands or between the hand and any surface (e.g. ground, own bodyHmmm. I'd have to watch again then.
But maybe he did have one hand on the ball on top of the ground.
I thought that was fair game tbf.
Particularly as he only had it in that position for a split second.

If hte goalkeeper has a hand on it its classed as gathered.
Really. Even the lightest of touches with one hand.
I genuinely don't know the rule.

Need a replay but was surprised it was given at the time!
I was surprised in real time too, but replay shows ball was there to be won.
Besides, since when do refs do their own 1 min debate to come to a decision.
Certainly never happens when we're getting robbed.

Keeper never had that secured.

He'd have to be missing a limb to be worse than Hedges.
Harsh.
I had Man City and Newcastle fans massaging me about the keepy uppy goal.
Blew minds when I told them it was his weaker foot.
If Markanda...y can bag a few of them we're laughing.
Don't even know why I'm rooting for him so much. Maybe because he's a nearly man. And I naively dream a nearly man can become the man. Diaz Mk 2 so soon. 🤞

Hedges potentially missing for a while.
He’s injured and he will be out for a while,” Tomasson told RoversTV after the game at Portman Road.
“I don’t know how long at the moment, but it didn’t look great to be honest.
“We’ll need to wait and see on the medical report and he will probably get a scan on Monday, but he could be out for a bit of time.”
Which probably means more of Markanday on the right.
I really wanted him to work out. Showed glimpses of being an exciting player.
But I'm getting Formica flashbacks.

This is frustrating, they've got a real player with Koleosho.
For about 3 Mill too. Steal.
He's playing so well it might even cause some of them to resurface.
Man U scored. Maybe they'll stay in hiding.

Fuck off Derrick!

C'mon Markanday!
Tonight's the night. 🤞

The flowing, attacking football is all well and good, but we're so weak in the middle of the pitch.
How many 50/50's lost.
I don't even blame the defence as much as others, they're left totally exposed time after time.

Scott Wharton warming up, lets revert to 5 at the back as that always works...
Tried and tested. 😉

8/9 mins injury time in our future here.

I'm hyped for him.
Was on a caravan site deadline day with no signal.
Standing on a stool holding phone in air to find out we'd signed a striker with a 22 in 49 goal record had me chuffed.
Didn't even dampen when I scrolled down to find it was for the B team, but I had been on the beer since lunchtime.

If these are 2 of the best teams this season, we might be in with half a chance
I must have had a bad week, cos I'm watching it thinking both these attacks murder us.
The thought of Pickering and this new version of S Wharton against them will give me nightmares.

Just one game, but Bellingham is so much better than I knew. Understand the hype now.
Bit gutted he didn't move to a Prem team so we got to see him regular.
La Liga barely viewable in UK nowadays.

That won't help the confidence.

I'm sure he won't be too concerned, since his team are totally outclassing the opposition and will walk off the pitch as winners.
Be quite nice if he scored, to shove it back up the home fans' arses.
Fingers in the ears knee slide again. 😂
Just mental that he's gone from most expensive defender, to being seen as a pantomime clown. Must be a tough pill to swallow.
Don't care what the players say, he can't not be hearing that noise.

He gets abuse on here, and he got booed playing for England.
He's not getting booed tonight, he's getting brutally mocked though. By a large contingent.

Feels like a head honcho from my investigations.

Director of 1987 formed company Srivenk Investments and Finance Private Limited which has 3 directors:
ANURADHA JITENDRA DESAI, JITENDRA MORESHWAR DESAI, MANDAVA SREENIVASA RAO
Guessing you don't end up in that select group unless you're someone pretty important.
He wasn't appointed till 2016, but you don't generally put someone on a 30 Yr old company lightly.

Not that it matters massively but that is absolutely not a brick thrown at the bus:
My guess is a metal water bottle as you can hear it ting and bounce.
I realise it's a me issue, but does wind me up how the whole World is reporting 'brick thrown at bus' when literally 2 mins investigation would show that's not the case.
Also, could the police not try and recover the object as it could have fingerprints and DNA on that a brick wouldn't.

One more needed for triple G.
Patrick Gamble, the pressure's all on you!

It was. CB got there second and bundled Hedges over in a dangerous position.
Bundled is a strong stance.
He put a hand lightly on him.
I'll take it!

2nd bit of good work from Pears
What no screaming about the ref? I mean, Trav should have been booked all day long for that challenge on the edge of the box 😉
The card for them on Hedges wasn't even a foul imo.

We're going to ground....a lot!
Yes, they're physical but we need to be much stronger.

Wow, what a stat.
The night gets more depressing.
I've instantly googled win % relegation and it gave me 19%.
That stat gives us 24%.
So we're good right.
