  1. On the basis we now have the third tightest defence in the league so 1-0 will do nicely and we have already beaten: Norwich H Portsmouth H Charlton H Bolton A Portsmouth A Fulham A take any three wins from the following six: Southampton H Palace H Citeh H Fulham H Birmingham A West Brom A Plus five other less likely candidates. Incidentally, Rovers last 17 Premiership results: W5 D7 L5 F17 A13. What's your problem? There we go, there is 1 win out of the 3 we need. How can anybody say they dont know where our next win is coming from when you consider how well we are playing at the mo!!
  2. Well said i think that sums up the current situation at the mo, but anyway onto the game and firstly the atmosphere which always comes up. I was sitting towards the middle of the jack walker upper ie the perfect situation to hear both the bbe and the dingles. To say that either end was quiet is absolute nonsense. In the first half we seemed more up for it and the atmosphere was better from brfc up to the dingle goal. From that period till about the 70min the dingles were on top. For the last 15mins till we scored it was even stevens as the bbe created the atmosphere needed for 1 last effort. The winner of course meant that 3/4 of ewood was going wild for the next 10 mins. However i dont think ive ever seen a darwen end react so explosively to when burnley scored it looked like people were jumping up and down rows! As for the game i thought we were pretty poor, burnley were well organized defensive, but after all we're the prem team and its our job to break them down. Nerves got the better of us until MGP superb winner, it seemed to take an age for the ball to hit the net after going past the keeper . Incredible at the end, i felt brilliant so satisfying. Blackburn before and after reminded me of the pictures ive seen of Belfast from the 70's during the troubles. Tension in the air, the police on every corner as if there was a bomb scare, parts of the town centre blocked off, flashing blue lights in the distance and the constant wail of sirens. All this for football! We are thru and that is be all and end all. Who cares about performance as the cup does that to teams, are Exceter as good as united cos they drew at OT? Course not bring on the Leicester! Your interbred, ya Burnley scum
  3. A guy on another Rovers mb said that he rang at 6.45 and there were around 50 single seats left, so to in all sense and purposes (have i got that expression write, ive never tried to right it before ) its a sell out. C'mon Rovers
  4. I posted that question before as to why we can never seem to get 31,367 or thereabouts. Seems the actual capsity is around 30,800 when you take into consideration stewards, secuirty and tv crew and stuff. I think our last real sell out was liverpool last season, 30100 odd.
  5. So what the general feeling then. Are we standing for the 90mins or are we gonna sit? Also, message to all those in the Jack walker stand where im sitting for my first game outside the bbe. Make some bluddy noise and make ewood like its never been heard before
  6. Try the national Express Coach service, far cheaper and they do overnight services from Blackburn to London. Not fun but at least it gets you back to London by wednesday morning.
  7. If Leicester bring 7k should we go through i would be very impressed to see 7K LCFC fans at our place. Seems odd that they havent been allocated the full cricket field stand at the dingledome
  8. In terms of atmosphere should i have got a ticket in the riverside or jack walker stand? Ive never actually sat in either so i guessed and bought them in the jack walker stand!
  9. The differenece is Zak, there are 3,100+ members on here, so there are bound to areas of similarity. There's only about 10 dingles on here and half off of them have got a similar name to do with Longsider
  10. Just got a coupla tickets in the Jack walker upper nearest the bbe. Btw, the whole of the bbe lower is now sold out, except to obviously season ticket holders who aint got their tickets yet. Ive never been in any stand but the BBE so this will be a new experience for me. What's the atmosphere like in this stand?
  11. Does anybody know if there is any particuler area sold out at this point ie bbe lower?
  12. No dont worry about it mate, i was just interested in how many it was, a good coupla 1000 i would guess. I like stats, i suppose it comes with growing up with American parents, they kinda like stats in the states Dont worry about it.
  13. Den, do you know the overall stats, like how many votes were casted in total for all the players put together or anything like that?
  14. So what's the plan then are we standing up for the 90mins in the Blackburn end or sitting. I guess that the riverside and Jack walker will sit anyway so just wondering if we are gonna stand or sit. Secondly as the non season ticket part of bbe is nearly sold out, do you think its worth waiting until thurs when i guess there will be a couple of spares of season ticket holders who didnt buy a ticket, or just to get another seat anywhere asap?
  15. I watched it on tv and think that we are getting the usual crap on here. The burnley fans claiming that Rovers had no chants and were quiet and the Rovers fans claiming that Burnley only responded to rovers chants etc. In reality i thought it was pretty much even in terms of the atmophere charts (bearing in mind dingles outnumbered us 4-1). Good noise from the Longside throughout and decent variety from Rovers fans as i heard 'no nay never', 'small town in y'shire' and 'chim-chimero'.
  16. I hope it is on sky, the replay although im going to ewood park anyway
  17. sambo mate, id advise you to stop the text speak. I dont give a crap about it, but the modes do, im only telling you before they do. Cheers

  19. Lets not be too quike to judge we had our clown with the coin thrower
  20. Looking forward to hearing from the Rovers fans who actually went. Any idea on how long they were being held behind for?
  21. Heard 'Small town in yorkshire' which was great fun. An incredible atmosphere all round as 3 sides of the ground stood for the 90mins. Constant noise from both sets of fans and both must take credit for their part in the most bitter derby in English football! There was no period that the ground went quiet, so its up to us to re-create that in the replay at Ewood.
  22. Delighted with the result. I would have taken anything but a Rovers defeat and we have done the hard job. Back to Ewood where we need to create a similar atmopshere to today and finish the job off. The hard work has been done and im delighted to still be in the hat. Cup football can sometimes give a shot in the back, so happy to escape with a draw. C'mon Rovers lets do em at Ewood!!
  23. Good luck to Rovers and our travelling army. Stand for 90mins and do the club PROUD!
  24. Of course, its not like burnley fans to exaggerate crowds now is it ? Its been a traditional burnley trait for the last few yrs, so dont try and put it back on us. Most of us estimate around 500 Rovers fans dotted around the ground, that not and unlikely figure is it? With regards to tickets and crowds, if you dont want us to mention them, then dont come on here within 5 mins of the draw with crap like 'hope you sell more than 1,700 this time' and 'burnley fans are real supporters cos we will sell out' As the you aint sold out and we have, is it any wonder we take the mick, you keeping quiet in the first place might help!!
  25. Done Right then lets get back on topic, although it wasnt me who started the debate. Bazza's brother putting his oar in for what its worth http://www.teamtalk.com/teamtalk/News/Stor..._313722,00.html
