  1. wow.. that's kind of expensive though, isn't it? they're making all kinds of profit off of that.
  2. i've gotten to be a big fan of Mokoena lately... he's just plain nasty. did you see him get in that liverpool player's face when he thought they had given him a late tackle? he popped right onto his feet and got right in his face... the look in his eyes was crazy... not "ohh.. i'm tough" kind of crazy, but the "i'm the king of the 7th layer of hell" kind of crazy gave him a look like "you can't play dirty against me... i'll beat you... i've got experience" i love his fire. i'd love to see him make a nice little home with blackburn, and stay here for years. what's his nickname? the axe-man?
  3. i wasn't impressed with the way we played through most of the game, but good teams find a way to win i've never been more nervous for a penalty kick in my life. lol. definately an entertaining game.
  4. even during the everton game, after stead scored, it looked to me like he was beaming with confidence. he was a whole new player after that ball crossed the goal line. hopefully he can continue on that road. i personally think we need to play a 4-4-2... i think a 4-5-1 is best when we're playing teams with a lot more firepower than we have... against Leicester, i think we'd be best to play a 4-4-2. either way, i'm very seriously looking forward to this game. i'll be up early on sunday morning in my home shirt, eating breakfast burritos and cheering on my rovers i'll even have the game playing on a movie projector we bought from dell it's as close to actually being there as i'll ever be able to afford. prediction: rovers 3-1 leicester stead to score 2, and dickov to score 1.
  5. i'm going to have to say 2-1 everton... i hope i'm wrong, but it's the way i see it.
  6. instantly my new favorite rover! MGP is a GOD.
  7. Bit harsh, People call for lads from the academy to be called up. He gets his chance and people like you slate him for not doing much in the 10-15 minutes he was on. exactly... give him time... he's still not even old enough to drink in his homeland
  8. if OTHER sports count: Dallas Stars - hockey Dallas Mavericks - basketball Tennessee Titans - football Boston Red Sox - baseball
  9. in no particular order, i like to watch these teams: celtic (not sure why, just always thought they were cool) fc dallas (home team... i feel better cheering for them under the new name than i did with the name "dallas burn") team usa (do national teams count?) fulham (a couple americans, and andy cole) hearts of midlothian (i grew up near a small town in texas called midlothian, so i always thought it was funny when i heard about hearts)
  10. the last ones we had with kappa were yellowy-orange, with black....
  11. i hope so... it just looks cleaner. Not if you poo in them. Blue please. i don't think blue shorts would be much of a help in that instance, though however, if that ever becomes a problem, then i think the new kits will be the least of our worries.
  12. if he goes back to scotland, then who's going to be the cure to all our striker problems?
  13. i'd have no problems looking at another sponsor for next season, if it meant we had a little bit more money to get that striker
  14. what's that company that owns lonsdale and slazenger and all those? i bet they're the sponsor...
  15. O great thats going to mean even more money to teh club shop actually, aren't the kits 1/2 priced, as opposed to normally? this is actually the same amount of money to the club shop, isn't it? and again, there's no law saying you have to have the exact same shirt as the players. the halves are what matter, correct? as for the road kits, i'd like to see a primarily black kit, with a little bit of yellow piping. i always liked the though of black and yellow for the road kits (like last year)... it seems like a cool thought, because if you take the colors of the home shirt, and invert them in photoshop, the white turns black, and the blue turns yellowy-orange... so a black shirt with some yellow piping would look pretty cool, imo.
  16. As I said above this site (Me) will ship you a shirt for very little cost. I just ask you also donate a £5 to the site for my trouble. Roughly speaking we are looking at: Shirt £24 USA p&p £5-6 Donation to site £5 Total £34 which is still cheaper than the old shirts used to be. There's at least two American, and sveral other members, on here who will vouch for this working very well. Any exchange rate charges are down to the buyer Happy to do it again when the new shirt is out. depending on how well my current one holds up in the next few months, how nice the new shirts look, and how much spare change i can find between the couch cushions when the time comes, you could very likely get my business again... i recommend it to everyone here who's having trouble finding a shirt.
  17. looks like i bought mine just in time, eh? thanks again, paul
  18. i think being hated by the competition is a compliment
  19. i predict a blackburn win.... 2-1... in what can be considered a relative offensive explosion for rovers
  20. maybe i'm just an optimist, but i thought we played very well. i hate to sound like souness about this one, but "we played well enough to win... lady luck just wasn't on our side" i don't think anyone truely expected us to win this game, but we managed to stay with the #1 team for the whole game. i took a lot of positives out of this one. as i said, we didn't win, but i didn't expect us to. we just looked overall impressive to me... the more i see dickov, the more i love his style he's such an irritant. and i really am starting to like mokoena. that being said, we still desperately need another striker...
  21. Id rather he told them - hammering could cause injury it'll help toughen them up they've had it too good for too long. got to get them ready for battle
  22. i think hughes is going to have it hammered into their heads just how important this game is... i'm not worried.
  23. if i even lived in the same continent, i'd be there without hesitation... i can't even imagine the atmosphere at a game like that.
