Rugby League
Billy Castell replied to Claytons Left Boot's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football
So the top two teams don't get to the Grand Final and two teams that were at least 7 points adrift of the top team get a chance of winning the big trophy. That seems a joke to me. -
The only way I'll believe Kean is gone is if I see his bullet riddled body paraded around by a group of Colombian special forces soldiers. The idiotic Indians would rather sack the entire staff before they get rid of him.
-
I just hope this move undermines Kean's position, and the prat leaves soon. However, I'm expecting O'Leary or A. N. Other to come in to help Kean relegate us. Steve must have pictures of Mrs. D. doing rude things with a Great Dane and hot dog sausages. P.S. Kean Out

The play-offs are bollards. Warrington topped the table, so they should win the league. End of story. It went down to the last game anyway. -
Judging by the ads, that Hop looks utterly, utterly ____. It looks like the sort of unbaked, cynical cash-in where the execs think that all they have to do is make a CGI rabbit and it'll be fun for all the family.

Made you look!

Don't look up the upcoming film The Human Centipede. I read something about it on Wikipedia, and its just wrong.

As great as Jackie Chan is, they could have at least got a Japanese actor to do the Mr. Myagi part. Getting someone from Honk Kong to play it is like getting a Frenchman to play someone from Scotland, or getting someone from Scotland to play an Egyptian whose lived a long time in Spain.

Went to see Warwickshire at the 20/20 today, and Keith Barker played a blinder. He was hopeless with the bat, as were everyone, but he finished with figures of 4-17, and had a hat trick. He's pretty a huge fast bowler and was the best bowler in the game.

You know nothing of genetics do you? The more narrow the gene pool, the higher the rate of inbreeding. The higher the rate of inbreeding, the increasing likelihood of recessive genetic diseases having an effect on a person, and that person will probably have learning difficulties too. I worry about you sometimes, you occaisionally come out with some extremely strange views on just about everyone who isn't you, or hold your views. You're like some early 20th Century aristocratic Colonel who wants to do away with democracy, sterilise anyone who doesn't have a servant or butler, and sees homosexuals as having a dangerous mental illness and should therefore be sectioned. -
Is that Predators just a reheated version of the original Predator? Looks crap whatever it is.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/10506482.stm Now this would be funny. -
So he did. Perhaps he will continue this trend and follow Jose to Real Madrid when the Special One has a crack at international football (or takes over from Sam). I can't see Rafa making Inter a force in the CL. He might win a couple of league titles early on, but his average abilities will assert themselves. Then I don't know where he'll be other than Russia on a big contract.
-
I agree Neekoy. Like 2005, he'll win it with someone else's squad and then proceed to sign 300 average players and leave Inter in a mess. Rafa is tactically rubbish. Plan A is to have 2 holding midfielders, two crap wingers who are probably out of position, and hope that their striker and attacking midfielder can create something. There is no Plan B, C etc. Inter have really messed up.

[Archived] Benni Mccarthy - Gone
Billy Castell replied to adam lodge's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
Assuming the dildo twins will tell Grant to get rid, the only way for Benni is down. 1st division clubs won't afford his wages, let alone be interested, and no other top division European club would go near him. His only choices would be some rich loons from Qatar, Turkmenistan etc. or the A-League. In short, he'll be on the scrap heap very very soon unless we see a huge improvement in fitness and attitude.
