Movement, albeit out, indicates what we all knew, which is that Mowbray must be safe as houses.

We know from what the likes of Danny Graham have said since leaving us that Mowbray will be giving them the proper silent treatment right now. Withdraws himself and gets the right hump with everyone at the club (bar Travis it would seem). This behaviour has led to a turnaround in results pretty much every time to date - if it doesn’t on Saturday against Big Club then I think we can safely say he’s lost the support of the players.

I don’t think Mowbray has a clue how to use him without Graham. He’ll revert to the fabled ‘false 9’ formation against Brum IMO to accommodate Dack and I’ll bet that won’t work. Again.

Stephen Warnock spoke to the Athletic recently about Allardyce’s first few days at Rovers and how he concentrated on defending and set pieces, making a huge difference in just a couple of sessions. He would have an absolute field day with Mowbray’s set up.
