  1. Watching the goals again and I was going to liken Lenihan and Williams to Peacock and Dailly - but that’d be harsh to our 90s boys! Williams for their second, Jesus Christ. Seen more strength in a kitten.
  2. Absolutely bang on - especially the last part. I feel like I need a summer break from Rovers and it’s only bloody October! I personally feel our only chance of ridding ourselves of Mowbray is if he walks. Rovers have improved his reputation in the game ten fold after his Cov debacle. He’d clearly be loathe to say goodbye to a decent pay day, but probably knows if we nosedive he’s goosed in the game. Go soon, with his reputation intact and he could still be in with a shout of the Boro job (as an example).
  3. Yep annoyed me too. Also how he said about us being an attacking team - or guff of a similar ilk. We created feck all, all game. Just how are we an ‘attacking team’?!
  4. The Sharpe stand in commented how unusually brief it was too. Definitely a man feeling the heat, even if it’s not from the owners.
  5. Sorry if it’s been posted already: https://t.co/SOThqZzCen ’We could have scored a few more’. 2 shots on target, 2 goals. What game was he watching?! Delusion is usually a sure fire sign of a man feeling the heat. Edit: apologies DE - see you beat me to it above mate.
  6. Disgusting result and performance. Time is up for me, Tony.
  7. Yep, seen a fair few on twitter turn today. They’ll be back onside though as soon as we win the next one.
  8. He’s got too cushty a life with Sky these days. Imagine him on the training ground with Arma, Brereton, Evans, Bell and co poncing around. He’d be behind bars.
  9. I’ve said it loads of times but IMO justifiably he could be deserved of the chop for spunking that £12 million alone.
  10. Sorry to see the boys and TM repay you like this following an expensive day out. I’d avoid his post match presser if I were you as it’ll only compound matters. Get a few more beers down you.
  11. The wheels were beginning to show signs of wear and tear - they’ve absolutely flown off today.
  12. 4-1. This thread is gonna be lively tonight.
  13. Social media manager, Benno, will be showing us all some on Twitter tonight. Mowbray wants dragging over hot coals for our record when falling behind. Following football is all about the unknown - not with our boys.
  14. Time up for me. He’s simple incapable of taking us forward. He’s unsure of his best team, has a terrible transfer record when spending any real money and ever since he walked through the door been unable to sort our defensive issues. And now we’re barely scoring. Writing on the wall I’m afraid. This lot are more likely to give him the boot after a winning run though, so I won’t be holding my breath.
  15. Not that he’s any good, but Lenihan injured now. Good job all those defenders turned up as promised though, eh Tony.
  16. For perspective they’ve been on a horrendous run and have had 24 hours extra rest than us. This is embarrassing Tony. Sort it out or get out yourself.
  17. Jesus fecking Christ, the defence is well and truly back isn’t it. Very worrying times.
  18. We’re a few games into it already, rather than the start, mate. 1 back - Dack penalty.
  19. Looks like there are 4-5 positions he failed to solve, but agreed - centre half and striker are the two biggest. Lenihan and Williams was never going to be the answer, nor was Sam fecking Gallagher. Seething with today.
  20. Spin your way out of this one Tony, you plonker.
  21. We ALL said he should have started - he's head and shoulders above 95% of our lot. But not for Tony. Tony did tell us all that we'd have no advantage despite having 24 hours extra rest. Well done Tony, looks like your mentality has rubbed off on the lads.
  22. 2 wins in 8 after today isn't it? Agreed though; he is a 'run' manager - good and bad, but the bad ones often outweigh the good by some margin!
  23. Couple of things: - We never come from behind to win as I said before; so looks like we're buggered today. Feel for the fans that are there. - Do we ever win a match ahead of the international break?! Pat on the back from Tony, enjoy your time off lads, see you in 10 days. - Alarm bells begin to ring when you're having shots yet not hitting the target. The alarm bells should be ringing non stop when you have zero shots at all. - We're always likely to concede at least one at the back, so with the team toothless going forward, this spells big trouble. Massive 45 for Mowbray here, surely the owners aren't going to put up with this for too long (yes, yes I know, I mean if we had sane owners). We need goals and our £12 million men are either always injured, benched, played out of position or plain sh*te. I'd be carrying out the mother of all enquiries.
  24. Got to have one of the lowest number of shots on target in the league, surely. It’s fine though, as Tony is a footballing purist - just look at the fantastic side to side passing with no end product that we’re capable of.
  25. Ah hello shite defence, welcome back following one game off. If the stats are anything to go by under Mowbray, then we’re screwed now aren’t we? Absolutely brilliant - happy Saturday all.
